Please help? Pastel question

To my understanding, "Jungle" is just a pattern variation (like "tiger" balls), and pastels with this look are pastel jungles. Not all pastels have the "jungle" look. In the end, they're all just pastels.

Heres a pastel.

Great examples Ed.

Now if you REALLY want to be confused, let's throw in the "classic jungle" as well.

I just wish the trait was reproduceable becuase they are pretty snakes.

In my opinion, a Pastel is a Pastel is a Pastel...

There are many lines, NERD, LEMON, Graziani, Bell, VPI, and many CH Pastels get imported every year. I think the only difference in Pastels is the marketing. I think a Pastel and Pastel Jungle are the same thing. Would I pay $300 for a Pastel and $1 more for a snake that looks identical but is labeled a Pastel Jungle, NO. Just my opinion.

As far as line go, the Graziani line

seems to have alot of blushing, where the Lemon line seems to have dark black, but high yellow. There are probably animals from each line that are stunning. By the way, I might have actually hatched out the ugliest Pastel I have every seen today, BUT, the line is known for average looking babies that color up a bit after they shed. I have hatched out several awesome Pastels too, from the same male, so......

I will post a pic when it sheds, should be any

day now. The coloring is bland, but one baby has a jungle pattern and one has "kind" of a reduced pattern look to it. I will post pics soon.

Here is my Pastel EMBER, I love it!

This is obviously not the ugly Pastel, but a Pastel Ember. One egg, four slugs, and this hatched. Hope the right pic posts:)

OK, YOU asked for it, <drum roll>

Here is the ugliest Pastel I have ever seen, hatched by me, from Pastel x Normal, just shed. NOW, in its defense, the last 4 Pastels I have hatched have been the stunning Pastel crosses and the Pastel Ember, so maybe I am being to critical and in my mind, comparing it to the Pastel crosses and Pastel Ember. Of course my wife loves this one:)
