    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Please morph me!

This is my first year successfully breeding so I'm not very good yet with identifying morphs and such. I have people asking to buy my babies, but I want to make sure I'm not ripping people off nor hurting my pocket either. Please help me identify them!!

In the first pair the female is a Super Hypo and the male is a Bell. He is not an Enigma. If he indeed a Het Radar, the babies are all 100% Het Bell and 50% Possible Het Eclipse.

Second pair again, if the female is a 100% Het Radar, the offspring in your pics are all 100% Het Bell and 66% Possible Het Eclipse.

Personally, I would question the genetics of these because the male was sold to you as a Bell Enigma, which he clearly is not. Did you get these at a show, pet store, reputable breeder or..?

I got the male from a good friend of mine who got him from a friend if hers. Apparently her friend is wrong since he is not enigma. I'm glad to find that out!
The female with the second set I got from a reputable breeder at a show, so she is definitely het radar.

Guess I didn't make out as great as I thought I would, huh? Lol guess I need to buy more breeders then! :D Thanks for the help Kelli.

Beautiful geckos... You may have even created a new morph in the second pair (the yellow spot on two of the hatchlings backs)! Search "leopard gecko morph index" on your search engine, preferably one with pics. Have you sexed any of them yet? Don't sell the two with the spots yet to see if their colors/patterns change if they do than it's probably nothing special). Also, try breeding them with each other and then each back to it's corresponding parent (if they're both females, breed them back to their father, both male/female breed them back to their mother/father + each other, and if their both males, breed them back to their mother) moreover, try breeding them back to the sibling (if possible) and other geckos with similar traits.

Great! I would suggest keeping at least one of the hatchlings so you can start producing the aberrant morphs for sale, as the gecko will introduce the trait into your gene pool. Try the breeding strategies I talked about, and good luck!

Can anyone tell me, the mom of the second group of hatching, that's het radar, is she just a normal?
