    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Please tell me I'm not the only one!

I'm expecting two boxes tomorrow from UPS with my newest additions, and I'm a mess! I've check and rechecked the homes for the new guys, making sure everything is perfect. I do an update on the tracking like every 15 mins, despite the fact there has been no change in hours. I can't sleep. Overall, I feel like a nutball! :crazy03:

I'm so worried I'll sleep through UPS ringing the door buzzer - that's if I can get to sleep. I'm also paranoid that they WON'T ring the buzzer, and I won't get my packages.

This is WAY worse the Christmas ever was as a child - at least then I didn't have to worry about my gift dying while Santa was bringing it to me!

Ok Shanti! First of all relax! Secondly just so your even more excited I had like several second thoughts after putting the gecko in the box for ya! His coloration is what made me have second thoughts! ITS FREAKING AWESOME! Not to make you even more excited or anything! LOL! Seriously the male I sent you looks STUNNING!

Haha, I've had that feeling before. It gets aggravating that there is no change on the tracking doesn't it lol. This year was the first year I was not all that excited about Christmas since you brought that up. What age did everyone else lose the extreme anticipation for that morning?
Go take some tylenol PMs (2 or 3) then lay down. In thirty minutes you'll be waking up to a new day.

LOL Chad, great way to calm me down! I can't wait to get him.

I think I'll take Chris's advice, and take something to go to sleep.

Just be up before 10:30 a.m.!!! I send mine guaranteed before 10:30 delivery! Let me know what you think when he gets there! Me the wife and my boys were all OOOHHInggg and Awwwingggg when we packed him!!! LOL!!

No worries, I'll be sleeping on the couch just in case! I have an internal alarm clock anyway - I can never sleep past 10am for some reason. I can't count the number of mornings I wake up at EXACTLY 10am (when I have the chance to sleep in).

LOL, you sound just like me......only since I work 3rd shift, I get home, and TRY to make myself take a nap until my package arrives (after checking the tracking 12 times, just to be sure it's coming!) but I can never sleep for fear of missing the knock at the door....even on the couch with 2 dogs that bark their fool heads off anytime someone drives in, there's STILL that slim chance I may lose my hearing and miss it....To make matters worse, since I live pretty well in the middle of nowhere, it's very rarely actually here by 10:30.....some days it's noon. So it's WAYYYYY past my bedtime by the time my precious package arrives! Then, of course, you have to unpack....oooh and aaaahhh.....take pictures, tuck him in, and sit and just stare at him for a couple of hours to make sure he's ok....my ol man says I'm nuts.

I NEVER get any sleep on new baby delivery day, lol. ;)
