PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi i just got 2 ball pythons. I believe they are sisters. I have done quite a bit of research and know the temperature gradients and everything they prefer. Currently with it being the middle of the month i am struggling with the temperature and humidity. I have them housed in a plastic bin with 2 hides and water dish. I dont have a thermometer in there but plan on getting a couple as soon as i can. But my main worry is that im using a human heating pad under the tank and dont know if this is getting warm enough for them. I also am heating up water in a 2 liter bottle and placing it in there with yhem. This seems to be helping with himidity. So im doing what i can. If anyone has any recommendations or knows of any help sources for supplies or anything like that would be greatly appreciated. My ball pythons are acting kinda funny i think? They stay in the hide(both in one on the cool side) wrapped up in a ball
L with their head in thd middle. They dont come out very often if at all. Is this normal?:shrug01::shrug01::shrug01:

Snakes are not social animals and they each need their own enclosure. When they are together under the same hide they are not cuddling, hugging, or being cute, they are competing for the same space and one will be dominating the other.

The hiding/balling behavior is normal - hence the name "ball" python.

If money is tight then for now I would suggest getting a second SECURE tub (the "latch box" type run $3-10 depending on size), two more cheap plastic hides, another water bowl, and an IR thermometer (about $10) so you can measure surface temperatures in the tubs. Set the heat pad up so it's operating at 90*F and put 1/3 of each tub on the pad.
