    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I sent him a private message to Please stop spamming the members here. Instead he could post a introductory thread in the Welcome Room if he would like to introduce himself to the site. If he continues we can address it further.
 
I was going to send a PM, but won't since you have. If he continues and there are more complaints, he'll get a vacation. There's no need abusing the system and pestering people.

Thanks guys, I didn't think much about it when I opened the PM...I don't get many of them so I was surprised...couldn't really figure out why I got a message other than I have a few active posts going on...I've gotten some PMs about those before but they normally have the subject in the
title line, thought maybe they looked at the post and then sent the PM. :shrug01: I'm a dork!

Looks like he is just ignoring the message and continuing to go down the members list creating messages.
 
He's gone.

I've seen this happen before, when a spambot sends PMs about Buddhism to every user on a site. As a matter of fact, the exact same PM has been making its rounds on various sites the past few days.
 
Dang...I was onto a spambot and didn't even know they existed....thanks to the troops for taking care of it!
