    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Whats the best way to pop adults??? My females have lil nubs that come out,,is that normal??? Also i may not be putting enough pressure on the males. However i want to learn how to do it the right way so i can be sure cuz i have a couple females that i think might be males,, and vice verse....they both look similar with lil nubs popping on both male and female....... :eatsmiley
 
you're better off learning to probe them, imo. check with a local herpetological association...attend a meeting - meet and talk to people...herpers love to show/help/teach
 
You did the right thing. Popping adults is not easy and can be quite traumatic.

Adult ball pythons are relatively easy to pop and in fact it will harm them less than if somebody who does not know how probes them. It is really not something that can be expalined here though (at least not by me). It is much easier to demonstrate in person. You develope a feel for it after a while. If you are ever at a show I attend I would be happy to help you. I do not suggest poping baby balls or any other small snakes if you do not know how as you can damage the tail and the spines if you apply too much pressure or apply pressure incorrectly.
