In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So let me tell you all a story about back when Heather was just starting out...

I had wanted Pieds for a while. But, back in the day, Hets were pretty darn expensive... So I waited it out for a bit, until I met this woman, Miss WolfyHound. She had just came onto the scene, bred her Het Pied male to a Normal, and wanted to sell her clutch.

I bought it, thinking that this lady seemed nice and trustworthy, and we began a friendship that lasted ever since.

So I got three sister 50% poss het Pieds.

YAY!

I grew them up, waiting year after year until they were ready.

This season, they were.

So I bred my Pied to them, praying that my luck would prove at least ONE of them out. Only two went this season, so that was already a kick in the pants.

And the first female laid 5 beautiful eggs. I couldn't be happier!

So I waited 60 days.

And lo and behold...

MY FIRST SET OF TWINS pipped first!!

How awesome is that???

So I waited, waited until I couldn't wait anymore... I cut...

And there were FOUR pieds in Five eggs, plus the Twins!

WOWEE!!!

And now, they are out of the egg...

And here is the kicker.

1.3 Pieds, 0.2 Het Twins with Ringers.

Can't get any better than that.

So thank you, Teresa Baker, for being an amazing and trustworthy person when you could have faked it.
You have made my season with this, and I am forever grateful.

Major Congrats Heather! They all look great, and that twins pic is just too cute. I now feel the need for a second paycheck. :crazy03:

Rock on Heather!! Could not be happier for you!

i hope we get the same odds when we run our clown male thru the 6 50% het clown females we got from a buddy of ours. thats great when all that hard worl finally pays off

What a sweet story with such a nice happy ending! The pic of the twins still in the egg together is terrific! I've always liked high white pieds but that one on the bottom right with the one ring/cricle of white is adorable. They all look great, congrats!

(I'm not real familiar with bp morphs but what is a 'ringer' on a het? I've heard this before but never saw what it meant. Sorry if this isn't the place to ask that question)

A ringer is just a misplace spot of white or orange on an animal, similar to the Pied colorations. Sometimes it is very slight, sometimes it is a complete white patch. Usually they are based at the tail area and are orange, but the more severe ringers are bright pied white!

They are fun, and the twin photos don't really show the Ringers well, albeit they are slight anyway. :)
