    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This as well as the cornsnakes.com site is so much more then just bashing people and boosting your own egos. So some of us are smarter then others. Some of us know every in and out when it comes to genes. Some couldnt tell you the difference between a creamsicle, candy cane, Amel, Reverse Okeetee and so on. To some they all just look like an albino snake. Some of us only have time and money for small cheap collections while others have warehouses full of reptiles that they sell for thousands a piece.

What I am trying to say is that some here need to learn to treat others with respect and be helpful to one another. Telling someone that the way you worded that is wrong what were you thinking it should be like this is just wrong and bad business.

Once again I will say that John you should of gone about this a different way in a different thread I agree with everyone there. But maybe this is where he thought he must go to start this thread.

All and all its miss communication and miss understanding that started all of this. What do you all think is the biggest down fall to businesses and companies.

I dont think anyone owes your friend an apology!..Everyone tried again and again to HELP him..I dont see how you and him CANT see that?..As far as others learning to treat people here with respect,well I think we all kmow who the first student in that class should be..He dosnt seem to know very much about that..For someone who has 3 kids,a wife,and a mortgage,he dosnt act like it..You cant say that miscommunication was a problem..She was communicating through email..He made it his problem to make that an issue,which its not anymore...I still think it sounds like he wanted the animals on a certain day and couldnt get them when he wanted...Better safe then sorry though,cause you dont wanna ship late in the week..Also,like its been stated before,how easily could it have been your name up here if by chance you couldnt have used the phone?...I think maybe you should take your cell phone on a road trip through West Virginia..I go there to visit a friend in Morgantown..Its a small city,and he still loses calls alot..When you get into the hills and hollers were we hunt,you might as well forget about it..

Something else to consider.... You came on here boasting about how you are getting the snakes that Amanda was supposed to get via a trade deal. HE NEVER told her the trade deal was off. Ok yes I was in line for the trade deal after amanda. She couldnt or wouldnt talk on the phone so he went to the next person in line. Cant blame a guy for that one. How many times have all of us selling or trading back out of a deal to go to the next in line cause we didnt like how it was going. For what ever reason!!!

No I do not have them we are shipping out monday. Now I hope I dont eat my words and get screwed in this deal myself. But I am pretty confident in the deal. Yes he is a ok guy I think. Just has a really short fuse. Everyone does about something work, a friend, working on a car, on the house, even dealing with customers. Just he has a short fuse about anything and everything.

I have said that I feel bad that I have backed him up and he went and sent some nasty emails to some people. I think that was uncalled for. But I also feel that some of you and some of the things you have said and made him feel was uncalled for.

Like I said I see eye to eye in both parties. I say just leave it. Stop the thread and just let it go. If you dont want to do business with him then dont. there are thousands of people on this site someone will believe me.

Plus he is now band for a short time for his behavior. Just let it go people.
 
Josh, this is the BOI, things are let go in here, ever. They dont just disappear, and they recirculate all the time. Just look at the visits to see how things are going. We are the jury, including you. You have defended him here, and yet, you keep having to the last word which continues to bring up the threads. Do you feel it necessary to bring up Amandas thread when you bring up his?

That is a no no. Herein is the problem that many people have. While I have not done business with John specifically, many people will not buy from or sell to someone that has a short fuse with customers. Just my $0.02.

Ok... so correct me if Im wrong here.

You just met the guy because of this trade deal?
As of the posting above you dont have the animals?

So why do you want to go to bat for someone that you have never met and haven't even completed a sale/trade with? Why would you put your reputation on the line?

Me personally... if I dont personally know someone (face to face), have known them for a LONG time online, or have had several transactions with... I will not go to bat for them. My reputation means alot to me. It's too easy in this business to get shafted thus I choose the folks I call my friends wisely.

As has been said... WE (members of the BOI) are the Jury... and the person you are going to bat for tried to plead his case here.. however he was the one found guilty... not who he tried to perpatrait as the bad guy.

something to think about. Maybe he is the best guy in the world... but I can say this for certian. He didnt handle this or a few other dealings correctly. He let his attitude and anger issues get the best of him. Do you want to be associated with and thought of in the same light?

I realize that I am only the new girl here but is it possible to keep all the comments related to John on his thread instead of keeping the thread about Amanda at the top?
 
If I know some one I will do a deal with out a phone call.I will not send a animal with out talking to them personaly .Yet all the details must be on the email as well as today people are ripping off people right and left.I am different also as all I do is venomous snakes and I must know that they know what they are doing or I can not let them have the snake period no way around it .I also will not ship any trade with out a phone call first.Phone calls are more professional but like I said I do venomous.
 
It seems the part of the debate involving Amanda has been largely resolved and the conversation has become solely about John and his issues. Unless there is anything further to add about Amanda specifically, the discussion of John does need to be moved back to his thread and not continued here.
