In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I know the answer is somewhere in the TOS, and sorry that I dont see it, feel free to draw me a dotted line to get there......:)

Is it against the rules to post animals for sale that are not in your posession and you do not yet own?

No it is not. For instance, I would generate a price list every year of babies I EXPECTED to produce that upcoming year. Wholesalers will often generate lists based on orders placed for imports or from animals incoming from, or brokered for, local breeders. This is a generally accepted practice by many people.

And, as in all instances of uses of the classifieds here, the buyer and seller need to do the research they feel is adequate to cover their own butt in every transaction.
