Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Me and my scale-kids are all okay. Minor property damage but nothing too serious. We were lucky over here. I'll be dealing with post-hurricane issues for awhile and I don't have any Net access at home, so my posting here may be sporadic until the gigantic mess that used to be the state of Florida is cleaned up a bit.

Driving through my neighborhood probably wouldn't have been possible a few days ago. The downed trees and debris were everywhere. Fortunately they did get the roads clear, and now there are huge piles of tree branches on the sides of the roads. There are still downed power lines and downed trees in the road in other areas as of last night, and the police had a lot of roads cordoned off for safety.

How's everyone else who was in the storm path?
 
Gainesville got hit pretty hard. Power is out in parts of the town and lots of trees down and major flooding. I recieved a call from a FWC LT. yesterday to make sure my facility didnt recieve any damage and all my snakes are accounted for :) He was very pleasent to talk with. On a side note, has anyone heard from Scott Brice? I hope they made it through ok without any major damage. Now I guess its round 3 for Florida, as Hurricane Ivan is set to visit S. Fl as a whopping Cat. 5 storm.
 
We are ok just got our power and water on a few minutes ago. I am so looking forward to a shower and sleeping in a AC again.. All our animals survived it as did we. We lost our carpet and some furniture and shingles but the house is ok and we are fine. Ray Hunter, Ray Goushaw and ERJ all survived I know HBR had some damage. From what I hear everyones animals are accounted for and alive.

I was inspected a few days ago and all was well. Great Officer BY THE WAY.

We were living on an Island for about 4 days it was fun though watching gators swim past my house lol
