• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

will someone tell me why people who posted yesterday are posting same ads today>
its the same group of people reposting their ads everyday.why?
i go to look at the new ads and i see all the previous ads reposted like someone will miss those repeated daily ads.
please dont be mad,i just do get it why you repost yesterdays ads again today.
 
lol, my favorite is the the posts that have 1 dragon per ad, running down the page that have been bumped because they think nobody saw them. Some people are too lazy to get their won website so they're left to spamming ads on fauna, and charging 50 + shipping for their colored normals.

There's no use complaining, and btw they aren't selling any dragons either if you haven't noticed.

An actiive classifieds is a good thing, dosent matter if its a new ad or the person bumping their 10-12 ads in a row. ;)

I just wish some of these posters with 10 or more ads would be more considerate and consolidate their ads into maybe 1 or 2 ads. instead of taking up 3/4's of the first page.
 
Personally, I like it better when people ~bump~ rather than repost, but hey, as long as they aren't scammers, I regard it as all good.

I'd like to see a bit of consolidation rather than 10 ads from the same person all in a row each advertising a single separate animal, but I don't mind reposts or bumps.
 
Consolidation would be better, in fact I implemented it myself just the other day. But the renewing of ads I don't mind. I do it myself, well, technically I just edit the add, change the pictures and re-type it to make it look new. Sometimes thats all it takes to get someone interested.
