    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just hatched out the first 13 of 65 eggs, so I can tell you what I did.

They incubate at room temps but not low temps, Mine were laid August 1st and are just now hatching lol

put them in perlite (mixed 1 to 1 with water)

I used the sandwich shaped containers and drilled 2 tiny holes in 2 corners for air flow

In August I put them in the kitchen where there is no AC Iand sat them on a high shelf and covered them with dark fabric to keep any light out

the temps ranged from 84 day to 75 night

When it started getting cooler, I moved them to the hova bator and set it at 84 and moved them to by bedroom that is always 72

I plugged in the incubator around 8am every day and unplugged it around 9pm every night, that allowed the temps to go from 84 day to 72 night and allow a normal day night heat up and cool down

They started hatching Saturday before Easter and hatched at 1 per day for a week and I am now getting 2 a day.

Check them every few weeks for the first 6 months just to allow a good air exchange and make sure the humidty is good. Then go to once a week until they hatch.

Once I see the head poking out of the eggs, I gently move it to a container that has perlite/water (1 to 1) and put a damp paper towel over the perlite so the perlite doesn't get stuck all over the baby as they come out.

Good luck with them and hope that helps some!
