Tri County Exotics
We have 5 of these amazing and less then common skinks available. All are 20 months old, captive born, and approx. 20 inches.
Prehensile tailed skinks are large (up to around 2.5 feet) skinks (with 1 foot being tail). They are arboreal and live bearers usually producing one baby. They require spacious caging, high humidity, constant warm temperatures and care must be taken when introducing new cagemates as it can be fatal. They are quite active particularly at night. Many branches and hiding spots should be provided as well as organically grown live plants. They are primarily herbivores feeding on leafy greens and some fruits and vegetables. The pothos plant is an important part of their diet in their natural environment and can be left in their enclosure. Prehensile tailed skinks require a dedicated keeper. They are no longer imported and are by no means any longer common. Please research and be prepared to properly care for them prior to contacting us. Serious inquiries only.
I apologize for photo quality. Will be adding new photos asap!
