    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi folks,
Recently Iv'e been getting a few private messages, but I find this system to be time consuming, and bothersome, and I'd rather not use it. I also feel that we would all benifit from the information I am recieving in these messages. Or at least most of it. So in the future please refrain from sending private messages to thesnakeman. If you would like to discuss something with me on the side, feel free to e-mail me direct at; [email protected]

In the mean time, I have requested to the powers that be here, that my private message box be turned off. I don't know if they can do that or not. But if not, please don't use it for contacting me. Just e-mail me, or post it so everyone can see. Please. Thanks,

You have control of whether you use the PM feature or not.

Go to your User Control Panel.
Click on Edit Options
Scroll down a bit and uncheck the box beside Enable Private Messaging.

This will disable the feature and you will no longer be able to send or receive private messages.
