• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

prolapse in male gecko, hemipenis (thanks for your help)

My little man healed pretty quick, but again he only had one amputated. Also he didn't have any bleeding at all after I picked him up. Makes me wonder how they did the amputation. His was cauterized so there was very little bleeding after surgery, and no bleeding at all after coming home.

I would take him in and have them check him out to make sure all is healing well. Just to be on the safe side. Keep an eye on the eating. Like I said before he may still be sore and not want to eat and pass any thing. Could also be that he was getting ready to shed, and you know how they are just before shed.

they gave him some sort of shot/injection for an antibiodic and told me to just put nesporin on it

I was cleaning it today and i might of accidently moved something because there is an occational blood/clear liquid mixture that he expells when he thrashes around. neosporin should heal that up.

there's alittle urate in that pic, but the bubble will just pop out and go back in.

they did a laser surgery on him

Hard call on the bubble. It could be an abscess, or maybe not?? I'd would do what you are doing and see if it stays the same, hopefully go away, or if it looks worse or smells funny take him back in for a recheck. Good luck...
