OK here goes all the questions. Everyone knows I just hatched a bunch of babies a few weeks ago. Well right after they where hatched I sexed them. The boys had little red bobers that stuck up very noticeable.
Now I separated them after their first shed and started to feed them. They have eaten twice. I have not handled them at all during this time (except for one girl). When I went to get out one of my little girls she HISSED at me. Now I am not talking a little hiss but a "I am going to kill you hiss (Like you punctured a tire or something)" She struck at me and even managed to draw a few drops of blood. Now to say the least I was shocked. Have I done them a disservice by leaving them alone? Should I handle them more? I don't want them to become mean or get used to biting people.
Also I want to know is it common to have a hard time sexing boys properly?
I have more questions but for now I will be happy getting these answered. Thanks
