I’ve decided to part with my adult Pardalis Pardalis breeding group. They are exceptional tortoises, I just do not have space or capacity to house them any longer.
This proven group of large adults is very well established, produces consistently through the summer months, and produces many many beautiful hatchlings for me each year. Pricing on these specimens will be individually: $4,000 per male, $5,500 per female. I’m happy to offer a group discount to the right buyer. Local pickup is preferred, but shipping could be coordinated at the buyer’s expense.
First Male: Hrothgar
Produced by Randy Limberg in 2006. Raised by Dennis Hickey, transferred to me in 2015. Currently at 19” straight length, a very impressive breeder, extremely territorial, excellent at motivating rival males to breed, and has sired countless beautiful babies. This male will not be your friend, but he will do his breeding job very well for you.
Second Male: Hercules
Produced by Richard Fife in 2004. Raised by Ben Awes, transferred to me in 2014. Currently at 19.5” straight length, an excellent breeder, great at sparing to motivate other males, breeds prolifically, has sired many beautiful hatchlings.
First Female: Starlet
Produced by Richard Fife in 2001, transferred to me in 2013 from a local AZ keeper. Currently at 19” straight length. She is an excellent producer of beautiful hatchlings, of both high and low patterning (not all of her hatchlings have double-dot patterning). She generally produces 7-8 clutches per year, from April to November, of between 16-24 eggs…well over 100 eggs per year.
Second Female: Shirley
Produced by Randy Limberg in 2006, raised by Dennis Hickey, transferred to me in 2015. Currently at 17.5” straight length. An excellent producer of highly patterned hatchlings. Generally produces 6-7 clutches per year, from April to October, of 14-18 eggs…well over 80 eggs per year.
Third female: Laverne
Produced by Randy Limberg in 2006, raised by Dennis Hickey, transferred to me in 2015. Currently at 16.5” straight length. An excellent producer of highly patterned hatchlings. Generally produces 6-7 clutches per year, from April to October, of 10-16 eggs…well over 70 eggs per year.
