    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok so after scouring the globe for months, i finally have an order of ptyas coming in. There will be several species and subspecies including many variations of Korros from the southern Islands of Indonesia, Mucosus (common asian ratsnakes) and we're PRAYING for Carinatus (they're big, they're mean, they're AWESOME).... they're also very hard to come by unfortunately. All of this is taking place this week. It's turning out to be an awesome christmas! I'll have more updates, and hopefully some photos in the next few days.

Make sure that you post plenty of photos when you get them! Especially the Carinatus. King Rats are crazy cool.

Alanna! *hug* It's so good to see you on here. It's been a LONG hard road to Ptyas, and it's not over yet. They were put on the plane yesterday, and will be going to new jersey, then to Ca, then to me. Keep your fingers crossed for P.Carinatus. He's the one i'm after. hehehe. Also, check out My classified on here. Mike's selling his carpets for a RIDICULOUSLY low price. It's in the Arboreal section.

Updates and photos

Hey kids. I just wanted to give you a few updates on Mr. Korros. He's been handling life in the new world very well. His fecals came back clean for the second time. He currently eats two to three f/t hopper mice every 5 to 7 days. I'm pretty confident his first shed in my care will be complete (he had stuck shed when he came in from Indo.) His eyes are clear and bright, nostrils are free of mucos, and he shows no signs of stress in his new environment. He's appx 4 to 4.5 feet long. One of my favorite snakes in the collection he exhibits personality traits from many of my currently kept species. He's as fast as a racer, as curious and intense as a spilotes, as bold and fearless as a cribo, and as gentle as a corn snake. For a WC animal with an EXTREME death rate in captivity, he's beating the odds and acclimating into a magnificent addition to my exotic colubrid collection. Enjoy the photos, and I'll keep everyone updated on his progress. There were 3 imported into the US. He is the only one that survived the shipment from Indo into the US, making him one of the only documented Ptyas Korros in the new world.

Sidenote: That is paint on Ben's hand, not musk. I had someone ask me about that earlier.

The only ones I know of are Jeremy in Canada, and several people in the UK, since old worlds have been bred there for over a decade. I am an avid member of ratsnakefoundation I'd love to know who else has these guys here. I'm lookin to get him a female sometime this year.
