yes she should have been put in a bag an more securely wrapped up. Their were scratch marks on the styrophone, showing she tried to claw her way out
It was in the higher 80's that day. I'm not sure on her side in Az. But their was a cold pack taped to the side of the box. It had a lot of holes punched in. She was loose though with a hand towel wraped around her, and she was quite cold. I still have the box she was shipped in with everything that was in it. if anyone wants proof.
eww horrifying this is actually illegaland doesnt comply with the shipping standards. She should be fined but this gives us other people who shipanimals beautifully safely and as comfortable and sterile as possible a bad name .
And this seems to be the most reasonable choice
