In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Pureagenda (EllMarie Richard) Sent me a sickly bearded Dragon

Dos'nt look like she has much pride in her beardies, not to post a few pics of them. but then again dosn't look like she's put much time into creating much of a page.

I e-mailed Ellie again to see about a return.
I gave her the option of sending me half my refund before the return of the dragon and the other payment to be given upon recieving the dragon. Or have a MOD hold the money ( if one would/could) and send the refund to me once Ellie notifys us of her arival.
Don't know if I'm wasteing time but thought I might try this

Shes stalling as she dont want the dragon, She spent the money already and isnt going to dig up more out of her pocket and send to you.

All she would of done was take the dragon. Nursed it back, sold it then you might of gotten money back.

Dont hold your breath of her ever paying you

I'm not but it was worth a try. I don't think she'd try to sell it again or maybe find a sucker. But, I doubt she would try to nurse it back to health. She seems to be more of a Flipper, trying to get the most out of them in my opinion

It's looking like that's a distinct possibility. If she's not willing to even maintain the necessary contact required to get the ball rolling on accepting the dragon back and issuing a refund of her own free will, I have to doubt that she's going to go through added effort to providing partial refunds or working out an escrow situation.

Not to imply that it'd be in any way immoral of you to send the dragon back to the person who's responsible for it's poor condition, but I'd personally hate to do that. I have just enough of a bleeding heart, where animals are concerned, that I'd not want to put it back into that situation. If you think that, under your continued care, it has a legitimate chance at rallying back to proper health, rehab and resell may be your best bet at working this out to where it's not a total loss for you.

The best thing is for the dragon to get healthy. From the way she talked I'm surprised she even posted it. but she chose to do what she did. Not even mentioning how sick the dragon looked.
The dragon will find a new home once healthy, which she didn't deserve however she got the way she did. but is going to live out the rest of her life as spoiled as they come. lol

I have to agree.

Get the girl back up to par & find her a good home.

Apex: very true, I don't really want to send her back to be treated the exact same way she was. And hope to find a home that can spoil her

Her's a couple new pics, Just thought some would like to see how she's doing:)

She does look soooo much better Sonia! Im so glad that you are caring for her they way she should have been from the start. I dont think your going to have to worry about her eating on her own once the parasites are finally back under control. Atleast now she looks like her morph again because before she looked terrrible. Very happy for you Sonia because you did a really great job on her so far. :)

Oh Yay!!!! I have been following this thread as often as I can and I must say amazing job! I was really worried after seeing those pictures you posted of her so I could not stay away, I am so glad she is doing better. =)

So I just joined this site yesterday trying to find a new beardie and saw this thread when I logged in, I read all the posts.I Just wanted to say I wouldnt buy a beardie from this seller after reading everything (nothing to do with her product) mainly due to the professionalism of the buyer vs seller. Just from reading her responses, you may have the best products in the world but when you treat customers like crap they dont come back. Just my 2 cents, and good job Sonia, hope everything works out for you and your beardie.

I could not agree more with you stefano, well put! I am a ball python person myself but had a bearded dragon years ago and was considering another in the future. There is no way I would consider buying from someone who acted like that. Not only to the customer but to make such a gigantic scene in front of everyone. I am quite certain her business will take a hit. Sad, actually. It could have been avoided entirely. Sonia clearly tried to fix it even before coming here as a last resort and then has been even more polite than most about everything since. Hopefully she will learn her lesson from this...hopefully. Sonia on the other hand...if I had a hat...I would take it off for her.
