    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

purple(paradoxed) hypotransluscent

Here are a few het silverbacks. All three of these dragons started off orange like the one on the far left. Once the midde and far right one reached about 8-10 inches, they started to change. The close-up pics are the one in the middle.

sorry i seen you crossed silverback hets crossed with a polar hypotrans but can you get one regardless of genes or is there only certin type of cross breading that can produce these?? an is it more likely to produce a paradox if one or maybe both parents are a paradox them selfs?!?!

I think it's a particular combination of genes is what makes a paradox dragon. Transluscent definately needs to be in the mix. Sometimes, mutations like this are not as easy to produce like a simple recessive, dominant, or codominant. At some point, I(or someone else) may figure out the right combination to make them more consistantly. For now, it just seems like a random mutation.

I have bred paradox to paradox a few times, and had little or no luck at making another one. I pretty much get the same results breeding two het trans together.

The silverback hets that I posted look like they are trying to turn silver. Some het hypos do the same thing where they can turn really light like a hypo, or some het trans turn trans(and eyes change over). Both when bred, still work just like a regular het. Those unusual silverback hets probably work the same way too.

Very Nice dragons Josh.

I do have a sort of off topic question for you. Why are all your dragon cages lined with Japanese(I assume) newspapers?:): I see it in all of your pics and am just curious haha.

Thanks, I appreciate the complements.

Haha! You have no idea how many times i've been asked that question. I buy 500lbs of paper at a time from this local paper company. There has been some complaints from other businesses about nudity on some of the asian papers, so they send them all to me.

I do miss the english papers...I get so much useless information every day while im cleaning cages.

Good stuff Josh! Here is one that I produced last year. Purple patches were pretty much isolated to the hind legs. This one has a great variety of colors depending on mood.

Thanks for starting this thread!
