    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Did the funds clear Angelo? Does your pp show anything and if it does what's the date?
 
Jodie flat out lied in writing in the first thread, telling the seller her reason for wanting a refund was the weather, and then saying it was a breeding issue.

So far we know there were two Paypal claims one for not-as-described, one for never-received. I'm wondering if there were also a couple of bank claims.
At this point, I'd like to see some real proof by both parties.
 
I'm thinking if she released funds its going to be Aug 26th
 
She filed claim day after she got it. PayPal forwarded all info to cc company. The cc company made a decision not on the fact she did not get it but on the lie she told them item was not as described. The CCc is not gonna just say ok here is your money back even though we have a tracking saying delivered. The only way she could pull it off was to lie and say item was not as described. If she cancelled she should show proof but there is none. I wouldn't worry because all proof and text are there and the fact she said snake is "beautiful" would mean she liked it and is fine with it. So she shot herself in foot so many times it's amazing she is still standing.

Let me get this straight, You were told via text at 1:59 P.M on Aug. 21st that the snake was being sent to you the following day. Your next reply via text to the seller on Aug 22nd (the next day) stated you received her and she was in good shape and that you thought she was beautiful! :shrug01:

If I understand what you have stated above in BOLD, you filed the claims after you were told the snake was going to be shipped. You received the snake on time the very next day, you stated she was in good health and that she was beautiful! :shrug01: Exactly what time on which day did you file your claim? Paypal must think you are delusional! You filed a claim stating you had not received your goods, (when it is very clear that the seller shipped the animal on time, exactly as stated). You then contacted Paypal to cancel the claim either the same or the very next day? Did you tell them that the seller shipped the animal on time and you were to much of a dumb azz to check your front porch?

It is people like YOU that give this wonderful hobby a bad rep! Please do me a favor and start purchasing your animals at the local Petstore or better yet Craigslist. You have only proved to everyone reading this ridiculous thread that YOU are a piece of work, full of BS! :thumbsup:

Acording to paypal the chargeback was filed on 8/23 a day after you got the snake...

Funds clear?? don't know what your refering too.. But as of now funds are still being held by paypal.. and the chargeback was filed with the CC company on 8/23 a day after she got the snake..

Jodie In additional services: email notification: is this not your email?? I posted on the thread you started asking if it was you said yes.. How do you not have a tracking number I got it? notefication is sent when shipping is booked and when it is checked in at fedex..

Paul you have it backwards:

She filed chargeback with CC company now they are trying to get funds from paypal and reason for charge back was "did not recieve" which is crazy seeing she filed it the day after she got the snake..
 
That screen shot shows that she should have been getting email notices the day it shipped. Do you check your email, Jodie?

I was thinking she may have cleared funds today just before making the post above. Apparently not.
 
I don't think she can, but the claim that she canceled the claims the day the snake arrived don't seem likely if his funds are still frozen by paypal. Surely his funds would have been freed by now, wouldn't they?

Jason you missed one piece: Jodie filed a chargeback with her CC company based on did not receive merchandise the day after she got the snake via fedex.. Snake was delivered on 8/22 she file CC claim on 8/23 for non reciept..

Yes donna you are right!! The funds now are being held (for the third time) for the chargeback from the CC company filed on 8/23
 
Wait till Monday call again see if she dropped it. If not Send PayPal a screen shot of her prior response in this thread. They will forward to cc company and should hurry things along. Does anybody know if filing a false claim to cc company would be fraud? This could get interesting!
 
I have a question about that Cal. Herp. assoc. link that Lucille posted. Didn't Jodie claim that she and her daughter were very new to snakes and reptiles? She claimed in a post on that page that she has done some rescuing. If so, wouldn't that indicate that sh has more experience than she wants us to believe?

Jodie, what have you rescued? If you have done some rescuing, then why is it not reasonable to expect that you would have done some research before you bid on this snake? Rescuing sort of implies a bit more experience than simply getting enthusiastic about a new hobby or supporting your daughter's new obsession.

I just found that comment odd given her claims in the other thread.
