In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Want to see what kind of feed back I could get for an idea I have for a future ball python. Planning on putting in "pond" in the tank with a pump/filter. kind of just running through start off ideas to put it on a large glass tank. From there comes questions and worries of the effects, practical use, or safety issues towards the ball python. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Was thinking of going with a large exxo terra terrarium. The ones that have the water proof bootoms with front hinged doors. From there I would measure out a portion of the tank on the would be cold side. Either with one piece or two with silicon sealant. The size would thought with installing a water pump/ filter. easy cleaning of fecal matter is a sure thought with soak and poop pythons. The thought of a pump/filter was in reasoning to keep water clean, easy re-filling with no dish take out, also the aesthetic purpose it would bring. Over just creating a dropped dish holder or something like that.

I wouldnt use a setup like this for a ball python, too much water/saturation can cause problems. However, i think this setup would be perfect for water snakes or some species of racers. Look into those and you'd still have a pretty sweet setup goin

Even some of your more tropical snakes like your GTP's and tree boas I think would work as well.
