Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

:shrug01: I know my snakes and lizards more than I know frogs. My boyfriend's sister picked up a pyxie frog at the local convention today. She says it's already about 4 inches long or so and supposedly old enough to figure out the sex. I've been trying to google how to figure it out, but as I said, I don't know frogs all that well! Hoping maybe someone who's had pyxies can help me out here :D

She took some pictures. I hope they help. Maybe just too young to know for sure? Would be nice to know early so we can get an appropriately sized enclosure if it IS a boy!

Looks like edulis to me...if it is, it won't get much bigger regardless of the sex. Lots of guys are selling these as p. adspersus, but they are a smaller species.
 
I agree, I think it is a edulis as well.

I was sold edulis twice as adspersus before I finally got the real deal recently. It's pretty aggravating, so I made sure I knew what to look for to I.D. these guys.
