In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Here are two new female additons to the crew that I acquired in a trade.

First off is a Possible Super Hypo Nicaraguan. She is supposed to be 4.5 to 5.5 years old and measures just under 4.5 feet long

She has a lot of orange color and some real neat blueish/gray spots and undertones on her dorsal and sides. I named her Telica(Teli for short) after a city in Nicaragua. If she truely is a hypo nic, she is one of the best ones I have ever seen..

Next is Aeon, a possible Super Salmon named so for her mysterious looking eyes. The background color of her eyes is like a charcol gray with an orangish/red horizontal stripe.

Aeon is supposed to be 2.5 years old and I measured her at like 5.5 ft.

Check out the thin saddles...

Both are in quarantine and being treated for mites as a precaution. I hope they will make some interesting and colorful babies someday.

Might I ask who sold that as a Nicaraguan? Not that it ain't a nice looking critter, just that it's a Salmon cross obvious enough. There are Hypomelanistic Nics, but they do not carry the Salmon gene. They are pure Nicaraguan animals, which that one, I'll bet a Sunglow, is not. :NoNo:

Just in case you were misled or something, thought I'd throw that out to you.

But, both are nice looking animals. I like her color a lot. She's nice, and sure to bring some color to your projects.

The eyes on the other one are just sweet looking. Sorta exotic, like a green eyed brunette or something.

Thanks for the comps TJ and Rick. Rick, I traded some animals that I did not want anymore with Tom Crutchfield, it was he who represented the first snake pictured as a Poss Super Hypo Nic. He in turn claimed to have received that snake in a trade also. I had my doubts about her. If you notice in my original post, I did say "if she truley is a hypo nic". I love her colors and figure she would produce some nice babies when crossed with some of the central crosses I am working with, so she kind of fits in with some of the projects I had in mind, regardless if she is a Nic or not.

Those eyes on Aeon, the possible super salmon, are truely fascinating, I am gonna try and snap and post some better pics of those eyes.

Had a feeling it might have been TC. LOL He's crossing Hogs with Salmons and selling them as Hypo Hogs also. Since everyone insists on calling the Salmon Boa a Hypo Boa, I guess it's sorta properly advertised. I can see why so many have a hard time learning basic genetics though. LOL

Good luck on your pairings though. What other CA animals do you have?

Here are a few, and no doubts about what they are because I produced them!!

100% Het Albino Hogg Island Cross from a spectacular Hogg Island crossed with a Kahl Albino

I am dying to see what 50% Hogg Island Albinos produced by me are gonna look like.LOL!

To each his own I reckon. I just don't get the whole cross thing. A Hog should look like this...

I mean, I understand the whole morph and color thing, and the desire to produce something killer. But hogs are pretty damn nice just the way nature made them, and like any other Boa, you can selectively breed for certain traits, and keep it pure as well. Notice how much the Colombian influenced those Neonates? That's part of the potential problem that I foresee with crosses. Some may look just as a Hog or a Colombian. You may represent them properly when sold, then someone else don't down the line, and sells them as Colombians or Hogs, and messes up someones project.

Like I said, to each his own, but I sure don't get it. :shrug01: Good luck anyway though.

And that Ihle Salmon is pretty sweet too. I like that. He'd make a nice Sunglow project.

It is not an Ihle Salmon, it is the offspring of an Ihle Salmon crossed with a Hogg Island. Careful, people might confuse you with someone that likes Hogg Island Crosses!!LOL As far as the crossing Hoggs with other animals, we have been down this road before and agreed to disagree. I have heard your side of the argument presented by you and others just as you have heard my side. I am tired of beating that horse. How bout we just admire the colors and different looks and leave the responsibility of acquiring pure breeds in the future to the purchaser, ie performing due diligence and finding a reputable breeder that will truly represent a locality animal with out any doubts. ( a daunting task, no doubt)If a reputable breeder had a shadow of a doubt about the origin of an animal then it should not be sold as pure, and that should go on down the line.

I love Hogg Islands as well and agree with you that they are awesome in their own right. One of my pairings this year will be a virgin Sears Line female that I acquired from Jeff Ronne with a Hogg that I acquired from a local shop. I intend to selectively breed Hogg Islands to each other. To me, its all good, especially when people can respect other's opinions.:D

I must have misread you above. I don't know why I thought that was the Ihle Salmon you were referring too. Still a nice looking animal though. See how that could pass as a Salmon? LOL

Like I said before, to each his own.

Us infidels might yet turn you to the dark side Rick!! " Never underestimate the power of the dark side" LOL:dgrin:
