    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I bred for the first time about a month ago she laid her first clutch which were huge the eggs but dried out because I forgot to put the lid back on the deli cup. STUPID ME!!!! So now she laid her 2nd clutch this week. She laid one outside the box and it got smushed and dried. Then she laid the other one today in the lay box and it's like half the size as the first eggs. Also the egg is actually pretty soft is it because it was just laid? The first clutch the eggs were alot firmer than the other ones. Maybe before she lays her 3rd clutch take out lay box so the eggs can develop more in her stomach? Also should I reintrodce the male anymore? All info would be great.

I would not take out the laybox, I think it is stressful on females when they are laying eggs, and if she has no where to lay them, it is especially stressful. If you have enough room in your enclosure I would put a few hides, one dry hide on the warm side, one moist hide with paper towels and one hide with dirt or whatever she can lay eggs in. Just let her continue her cycle and she will eventually figure it out. I also have just kept the female in the enclosure with just one hide, the laybox. She laid them in the lay box every time. Ive had success both ways, find out what works best for you. Good luck!
