    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is there a way to attack excel files to a post here? I would like to share my spreadsheets for feeding/shedding records with some other members.

Perhaps by converting it to a zip file?

If not, what is a good third-party website that is free and safe to use to share it.

Thanks!

One easy way is to save a document, open it in paint to resize it, then save it as a jpg file. If you can't open it directly, you could do a screen capture & proceed as above.
I don't know if Photobucket, and the like, work with Excel files - but you can try.

Alright, thank you Harald.

The screen capture will work for now just to show it off, and they can get it from email if interested in using it.

I appreciate the help!

Well, I can enable the attachment of Excel files to posts here if the demand warrants it, but bear in mind that there is a slight risk associated with doing so. Although Excel files can't compromise this site (as far as I know), any malicious macros included with such files that contain virus programs can affect the user who opens them.

You, of course, would know much more than I would, but from my own perspective, there doesn't seem to be much of a crowd using excel sheets. Or, at least, certainly not enough interest to invest time and effort into adjusting the website to incorporate them.

On the same coin though, perhaps incorporating it into such a widely used site might spark the interest of those who would otherwise not use spread sheets.

Either way, I'm fine with both. Being able to upload directly would be really nice, but I'm not so lazy that I can't google an upload site and then copy/paste a link for these forums =]
