    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

im new to the internet i know every one lol but seriously i have been breeding on and off for 14 years i can not tell the diffrence between norma and het offspring can any one help me with this

Gus, in most cases, there is no visual difference between a "het" and a normal. Are you talking about animals you are producing, or thinking about purchasing?

snakes i have produced in past also future breedings i have been told in the past all the big name breeders can tell but nobody wants to share how they do it ive breed hets in the past and its allwas been 50/50 shot with the results i dont even buy hets any more but i would like to be able to be acurate when selling my own snakes nothing worse when you breed an albino to a 100 percent het and you dont get any albinos

There is no visual difference in hets in recessive morphs. Some say there are some tricks or sometimes "markers" but I really dont belive that. If you breed an albino to a het albino and dont get any albino's than the het was either not a het or you pissed off mother nature somehow. It also depends on what your breeding, if its balls and you only get 4 eggs then theres a better chance you wont get an albino, but if its boa's and you get 16 babies and none are albino's, it's pretty safe to say the het was not a het.
There are also possible hets, if you breed a het albino to a het albino then statistically you'd get 25% albino's the rest of the litter will be normal in apperarence but they have a 66% chance of being het albino. The ONLY way to find out wich are and wich aren't het albino's is by breeding them.
An albino bred to anything will result in all of the litter being definet het albino's.
A het to a het will result in some visual's and the rest of the litter possible's.
A het to visual will result in half visual and half definit het's, because an albino bred to anything will result in animals that are het for albino.
Heres a link to my site, its ruff I'm still working on it, but Imade this page for beginners see if it helps you out.

Gus, are you asking about hets in general, or hets for a specific trait (ie albinism). Since this is the boa forum, I will assume that you are referring to boas.

yes im talking abouy boas hets in general but i do have hets for albino,anerys,snow. i also have 3 pairs of albinos 1 pair of anerys 1 pair hypos 1pair of n.brazil multiple surinams multiple bci and then a few pythons and corns 90% of witch will be ready to go next season after this year though not sure about dealing with many hets thanks for all & any input
