    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just found out about this part of this sight.  I had someone say that my name was on here for a bad experience with me.  I started reading everything and it is easy to read a complaint for someone and then say "Oh dont deal with them, they will rip you off!!"  I saw some bad post on some people that I had really good dealings with.  Also remember that there are some crazy people in the world and if a snake or lizard is not the right color or if they dont know how to sex a snake or lizard and SAY YOU SENT THE WRONG SEX ANIMAL they will bad mouth you and people will believe it.
 In the past month I have gotten a order of 3 rubber boas (one was dead), 2 ground boas that were supposed to eat baby mice and wont eat anything but lizards, carpet python that was dead,German Giant Bearded Dragon Female Adult that has mouth problems and is very skinny and wont make it much longer I am sure.
These are just some problems I have had.  I do not blame any of the people that I got them from for the mishaps (except the Bearded) that had happened.  I could say dont order from this person they sent me a dead animal or something.  That is what people will do.  So,  I am just saying while you are reading all these post dont believe everything you hear because you might be hearing it from a crazy person that that likes to blow things out of proportion.
 
You can always come on here and give your side of the story. How you conduct yourself here will have a lot of weight on the reputation you earn here (for me at least).
 
Yes, everyone has their side of the story but what about the other side?  Most people will read what someone says and take that for the truth and not even think about the other side.  I just wanted everyone to remember that.

You are right to a certain extent.  Once you have spent enough time here you will see that most people will not take posts without sufficient evidence or details, with much credibility.  If I came on and simply said "don't buy from skfu he is a crook" (just an example not to be taken literally) I doubt seriously that many people would take me seriously.  Some people will press for details others simply chalk it up to the ramblings of an fool.  

If, on the other hand, I make a sensible post with all the relevent facts supporting my claim then I will most likely be taken more seriously.  Can I make up believable stuff about you and get people to take my side?  Sure I can. Could that possibly hurt your credibility? of course it could. But, if you come on here to defend yourself with all the correct facts most likely the truth will come out, you will have been vindicated, and I will have lost any chance of doing business with anyone who reads the thread.

this is especially true if you have people come to your defense who have a legitimate reson to do so.  Of course if you really are a crook then this could backfire.

My suggestion to you is this.  Go back to any negative posts made about you that you can find.  If its an old issue that wasn't made right, or can't be made right, then post your side of the story.  Limit yourself to only the facts of the deal.  Don't make any acusations about the other party, don't draw any conclusions that the facts don't bear out.  Simply state your side.  In most cases you are either in the right or in the wrong.  If you are in the right then the vast majority of people reading will be on your side (some of us here are pretty sharp and we can usually figure out whats going on)  If you are in the wrong then you at least get a chance to tell your side of the story.  you may not be able to convince everyone that you are right, but by having spoken your peace in a sensible manner, without stooping to lowlife tactics, you may not have eliminated just about everyone from ever consider doing business with you.

Obviously you are referring to the above post concerning you.  You say that "most people will read what someone says and take that for the truth and not even think about the other side."  This couldn't be further from the truth.  Most people on here read EVERY single word everyone says!!  Yeah, some people jump to conclusions, but if their conclusion is misled, others will let him or her know.

Well, to the point, I read the thread concerning you.  I would deal with you if you had something I wanted.  Her response was ridiculuous! She couldn't take pics of the ventral area to prove the sexes???!?  She says that you should have just taken her word!  If we could just take other's words, this site wouldn't be here.  I do not think you were wrong in asking for pics and I think others will agree it wasn't a crazy request.

  The only reason that I thought Jason should take my word that the sexes were wrong is because I had already made 2 other trades with him prior the this last one. I thought he and I had a mutual respect and rapor with each other. I did not say I could not take pics. I said I did not want to take pics because I don't have a digital camera and didn't want to spend the 13 plus dollars that it would cost me to take and develope the pictures when there was no doubt in my mind that the gecko's were females and not males. I have been keeping reptiles for the last 25 years and know how to sex leopard and fat tail gecko's. All I wanted to do was send the females back to him (at my expense) and trade them for males. If you think that this is rediculous then so be it. The fat tails never bred because they were both females and I have since traded them and the leopard gecko that was supposed to be "male" is now gravid and about to lay her eggs. Don't jump to conclusions without all of the facts. I have been in touch with Jason since posting the facts about our trades and we are on good terms and may even do business again.

as a side note, and hopefully so you feel a little better skfu, your name was posted on here a few months ago (i'm not sure of the exact time frame) and all that was relayed were good experiences--and there were several replies.  no complaints.  so i had you in my head as one of the "good guys".

yeah what all the above said.I SHOULD KNOW.most of you jumped on the band wagon and started in on me. but all is forgotten.you went on what you felt to be something,like it was  said to me, you can please some, but you cant please all.and yes if it came to it i would buy from anyone that has said something bad against me. so hold your head high and move forward.    charlie.
