Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a friend who is getting out of the breeding business , he is offering us a lavender ball python for 1000 is that good, or should I say I will pass for now. thanks

Then it makes sense that your friend is getting out of the business. At those prices he would be broke by now. Lav Albinos go for about 20 times that amount. I smell something under the bridge

hahah..Also, if its just for a pet, $1000 is steep for a normal looking BP, no?
 
It's pointless to pay extra for the genetics unless you have plans of breeding them. You can get normal pet balls for as little as $30 for a hatchling. Even find proven adult normal males for $50-75 with little trouble. Buying a het for anytyhing with no plans to breed him is just wasting a large amount of money.
RDR also asks 5 grand for het males and 6 grand for het females. I'm betting that snake is only 50 or 66% het if anything.
 
I would pass, unless you plan on breeding. I agree with Clay on that one.

It sounds also like snake you are being offered is probably het for nothing, and that you are getting the wool pulled over your eyes. BUT! If you trust this person, more power to you...

:) Either way, Ball Pythons are awesome, so get one!
 
HH you made me smile, (we know about corns because my husband breeds them.) Just asking didn't plan on buying it ;he has the papers from where he bought it. We have 3 females that are pets, one is a rescue we paid only 82.00 she is a 2 years old.so I just wanted to check out the pricing I don't know about the morhps just know that I really like the snakes and would like to get a albino one day. I don't even know the different types of morphs there are and when I look on line it gets so confusing about it, so just thought I would ask here since everyone here seems to be nice and trusting, just trying to find out if that is a good price or not ,(didn't plan on buying) Too much to spend on a snake unless I was going to breed and get some of my capital back , thanks again again will pass on the offer, now only if it had been his albino I would have to really think about it lol.
