    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a question regarding adoption. I have two leopard geckos in the area of 5-5 1/2 months old. The male is an albino with a bit of orange on his tail. The female is (I was told) a high yellow with a couple spots of orange on her tail. They are very sweet and FULL of personality. Unfortunately, it is looking like I may have to find them a home due to reasons beyond my control. I am already very attached to them and am worried about finding a good home. I don't know how to ship live animals, so I will probably have to find a home for them near me. My question is this: How is the best way to start looking for a new owner? Where is a good place to get hooked up with a potential owner that I know will really care for them as a member of the family?

I have had many pets over the years and am an "until death do us part" type of pet owner - and my pets usually live very long lives with regular vet care and lots of love. This is really stressing me out. Most of my friends and relatives say, "They are just lizards." Obviously, they don't get it.

Susan, you may want to check craigslist.org. Also try to look up any local herp societies in your area. They usually have an adoption coordinator to help match you up with potential adopters. Good luck!

Thanks for the message. I will e-mail you soon with some specifics. I am trying to find recent pictures of them on my computer so I can attach them to the e-mail. I'm not sure if you'll be interested, or if I'd even be able to get them to New York. I have one local individual who may be a possibility. I will know soon. My biggest concern is that they go to a loving home where they will receive plenty of attention - the male Ricky is a show off and obviously thinks he's pretty cool.

i currently have 18, and they are in perfect health, im in my room with them 24/7

heres one of my females
