In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am wondering if anybody has ever probed a false water about 8-ish scales or so deep and have it turn out to be a female?? I can kind of pop my 6 foot falsie but not real good. I probed it about 7-8 scales on one side and about 8 on the other. The weird thing is that when I cleaned their cages, I didnt close their lids all the way, "he" went out and went into the other males cage and the other male starting trying to push the other snakes head down and dominate the other snake. I have seen thats how they court as a pair as well. I guess, Im asking, is probing guaranteed 100% in falsies like the big boid snakes, like retics, burms, rocks, or is their a percentage that probe deep that can still be a female. When I thought my original male was a female, and I put my hypo guaranteed male in there, they sat on opposite sides the whole time. When these two supposed males got together the one was all over the other and trying to maneuver their tails, like trying to lock up.

Thoughts? The one snake just gets his whole body over the other and tries to pin its head down while the tail is searching for the other snakes almost to lock.

Would a quick video help of when they get together. It doesnt look like aggression to me at all. It looks like all the videos/pics I have seen how the male just tries to dominate and "head pin" the female and basically lay on top of her, thats pretty much what it looks like to me.

couple pics of them and a video

Another quick experiment. As soon as I put him in, he went right for the other and began to pin the head and follow the snake where it tried to go.
