    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We adopted a male ball python and he is gorgeous we have had him for a few months (he was rescued and is now looking gorgeous) He was eating for the person who or ginally rescued him, but has not taken a meal for us yet (which can be normal not concerned about that right now) We are going to be putting him up for adoption as soon as he eats for us, my question is how do I ship this one animal (I know the chances for him getting adopted is better if I can ship) Will fed ex let you ship just this one time or do I have to set up a account I have read where people have troubling getting to ship. Any help will be greatly appreciated, I would like to post him here for adoption when he finally eats. Dana

To ship live animals via FedEx, you are required to have the live animal waiver (certification). It is a simple process, basically consisting of filling out an application and submitting a package for testing. Unfortunately, there is no one time grace period. Per policy/TOS, UPS and DHL DO NOT ACCEPT SNAKES. Sorry to be so emphatic, but just about every time I make that statement, somebody feels the need to dispute me. I have letters from both DHL and UPS confirming this, if anybody requires proof. Yes, I know that many major breeders and dealers use UPS almost exclusively. SOME of them actually identify the contents as reptiles. I can't think of too many that I have seen that actually declare that the box contains snakes (including the labeling required under the Lacey Act. One thing that all three companies share is a statement in their TOS to the effect that if they become aware (or suspicious) that a package is in violation of their TOS, said package can be stopped along its path and deemed undeliverable

I left out the other options (oops). Delta Dash - which requires one to be a "recognized" shipper (which sounds like more trouble than it is) - and Delta Cargo (air freight). I don't know if the requirements have changed, but D. Cargo was THE way people shipped reptiles when I got into this. The last time I used it (9 years ago), there were no special requirements. You just brought your package to the freight office (sometimes they had you open it to verify contents)
