How my dilemma is coming
Yes, like another poster, I knew better but I really like white lips. I took the chance. like I told Mike on the phone, $150 will not make or break our store and it was worth to see those animals. I still have the larger one which is the female. I am giving it .1 ml every day in conjunction with Flagyl. I like how they work together.
Well, how is it coming you all ask? I called Mike today and left a message, he called back. He sounded rather upset that I placed a claim with paypal and posted here. He said we had agreed to keep this to ourselves and out of the public forums. I told him it was my responsibility to post. There was no emotion in my post and no lies. I just posted what happened. He seemed very nervous. I may have blown any chance at a refund/trade. I have also contacted Florida Fish and Game inquiring about his business at that phone number and address to make sure all liscensure is in order. I am not totally up on Florida laws but I do know that they are strict. He runs it out of his house.
Mike said he reads these. If you read this Mike all I want is to work it out together. If you are a good guy, I will post here exactly what happens. The other may die, I am not a vet. I will do what I can but I cannot guarantee her survival. She looks OK as of now.
Anyway, mike seemed iritated and I don't blame him. He said he would call me back. I do not know if he will. If he does, I hope we can get it all straightened out...
...I just got off the phone with him and he was very angry. Again, I am not surprised. I would be too. He said that he was too angry and busy to deal with me at that time. He said he would call me tomorrow when he was more in control. He said that I threatened him with the liscensure discussion. That is true, I did. He said he could have laughed when I mentioned that.
Mike if you are reading this I am sorry, but what choice do I have. I really don't want my money back, i would like another CB male lip.
Would you recomend me (Off The Ark) as a good business to buy from? probably not after the dealings we have had the last few days. How do you think I feel?
we all screw up or have things happen in dealings. Just as i told him, what separates the good guys from the bad guys is the ability to say,"I just am going to have eat this and forget it and not let it carry over to my other work/life."
allright board members, it's time to give it to me for being a knucklehead and doing what I probably should not have. I know, I know, I know. But it is not over yet, and after 15 years I have only been srewed once by customers and that was Sal from Upstate Exotics. Remember him???? And even then, I got my money back from his friend who made the msitake. Sal was smooth.
