In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Rainglows ?

Dan, she's looking good.

I don't know who you think your kidding??

By the way the check is in the mail. Thanks for the confidence. LOL

Dan those are amazing!
I also like the Rainglow name. Real catchy.

Just think a couple of years ago RW's were kind of losing ground on the popularity side. But I think you and Jeremy are differently making people take notice of the true possibilities of this strain.

Geez, I guess Rainglows it is. Since they're all from Redstripe parentage we'll have to see what the stripes will look like. Jeremy's got the Raining Reds covered. BTW Jeremy, I really love the three you sent and both of your albinos from last year just laid eggs from the Dad of the (ugh) Rainglows. Here are three more females being fattened up.

Wow, I can't beleive I missed this thread! See what happens when you don't come on here for a few days

Your Rainglows are GORGEOUS!!!! You an Jeremy are doing some great things with the Rainwaters!!!!

I am glad I didn't give up on my Rainwaters a couple of years ago when their popularity briefly waned. Dan's new (cough cough) Rainglows look great.

Definitely nothing new, Frank. I believe the first article by Tim Rainwater about his newly hatched albinos was in '97. How are yours coming along, any cool surprises ?

great color on those guys!

just wondering, you said that they were from red stripe line. does that mean there isn't any ray hines hypo in them? that being said wouldn't they be Super-Tangerine RW albinos? a super-tangerine being the albino variant of the line-bred hypo/designer.

this is how i look at it...

a Super-Tangerine Albino in its non albino form is a line bred tangerine (this includes non striped red stripes, because they don't have the ray hines blood in them).

a Hybino in its non albino form is a ray hines hypo ct.

and a Sunglow or Super-Tangerine Hybino in its non albino form is a SHTCT (a linebred tangerine hypo X a ray hines hypo ct)

really i dont know if everyone looks at it like that but thats how i see it.

ray hines made the first hybinos. ron tremper made the first super-tangerines and i think urban gecko put the first sunglows out there but i dont know that they were from linebred hypo AND ray hines hypo lineage.

i love the rainglow name too. its catchy. but in my humble opinion you should throw a little ray hines hypo in them before you name em anything-glow.

either way, BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS! what was said about you and jeremy bringing back the popularity of the Rainwaters it absolutely true. you guys have done some great work with that line. you should both be proud of yourselves.

The banded RW females used have Bill Brandt's hypo line in them. I purchased several of Bill's animals in the mid-90s before we'd heard of Ray Hines ( Ray's animals came from Bill ). They also have tang from Ron Hatcher tossed in there from an orange pair purchased in '95, the first orange animals I'd seen.

LOL i wish i wasnt a 1 year old when all of this was going on :bawling: I see your calling them Rainglows on KS, I think its a great idea.

I've never gotten any of Ray Hines' superhypo animals, only Bill's - and Ron Hatcher's tang plus HQ Redstripe in these. We never had more than 30% carrot tail either until introducing the Redstripes. They normally throw split clutches with one superhypo and one more like the other parent so I guess there's some co-dominance in there. As far as the "glows", the other glow lines are all Trempers. We've gotten alot of emails saying they like it so just gloing with the flow.
