No, that would not "follow". That is the statement Dave Lawson is making.

What would follow is the assumption that Randy and Bud attempted to circumnavigate the laws on a specific deal.

While I firmly believe that Randy should strap on a pair, and pay his debts, this accusation is nothing more than hot air, until Dave Lawson can come up with something a little more solid than, "Well, I'm pretty sure this might have happened."

I also believe that "Greg Mosley" is in fact Dave Lawson.
Can't prove it yet, but the authorities are working on it.

Oh ok, so no one actually bothered to ask Edwards to produce a venomous permit to validate that he actually had one. Neither Bud nor Randy ever asked to see it in person, or to have a copy faxed to them to keep on file if seeing it in person wasn't an option.

So it safe to say this was some sort of trickery on the part of Edwards and not the stupidity of a few people who would essentially be required to see a permit on a venomous transfer or sale. Bud and Randy worked under the ASSumption Edwards had a permit so its really not their fault they didn't actually check it out.

Ahhh yes....I understand it better now, but on top of being scumbags I thinks it safe to say we can add stupid as well. Stupid scumbags it is.

My Introduction and Commentary

I will say, first, that I finally decided to join this site after several years of hanging around in anonimity just reading all the garbage posted here. This post is in the right place and I will get to the point quickly. It has always amazed me that this site allows people to slam others without much evidence and when they answer back, they are usually thrown off; as I'm sure I will be. I have even seen threats of violence posted here that to this day remain. Peoples addresses, pics of their homes, etc.,...but to the point!

For years I have collected Texas, in particular, the Big Bend area. It is my favorite place on earth next to the Huachuca Mtns. in Arizona. I spend every summer in Alpine teaching Government at Sul Ross. I know and associate with a scarce few herpers because, well, quite frankly....there are not enough good herpers to justify having any of them.

I met Randall (Randy) Ellis only on two ocassions. I had already heard way too many stories about him to be comfortable having anything to do with him. As a result, I had nothing to do with him, other than a few conversations where he was pressing me to collect everything I saw and sell or trade it to him. I am not a commercial collector and declined to do so. I do know a number of collectors who lived in the Val Verde area, as well as, several LE from the area. I hunt on the Box Canyon Ranch every year as a guest of the owner, who is a retired Texas Ranger.

I have never met a single person that has a good word to say about Ellis. He lived in Comstock in a trailer that he claimed was worth $80,000 ! LOL It was a dump. It was the nastiest abode I have ever seen. His reptile room was actually pretty clean, but there were dead and dying animals in every cage. The amazing thing about this guy is that he could look you dead in the eye, lie to you, knowing he was lying to you and he knew you knew, and just keep doing it. The people who own Holley's in Comstock refused to deal with him and are very happy he is gone. He finally burned enough bridges in Val Verde that he had to leave for fear of his life. LE has been investigating him for years for drug traficking. He has now run to San Antonio where he thinks he can hide. Even the website he has was stolen. He had a local Del Rio company design it and he never paid them for it. He has had numerous collectors over the years pick up stuff for him with the promise to give them alterna in return. He did this to Shawn Lund and Bob Sloan; two guys you do not want to cross in this life or any other. I hear they are both looking to have a face to face talk with Ellis. Who, by the way, claims to be a Black Belt in Karate. Sloan is and Lund doesn't need to be cause he's just plain crazy !

I guess my reason for joining and this post, even though it'll probably be my first and last, is to just say....WE ALL TOLD YOU SO !!!
 
I'm not going to bother picking apart your thread, piece by piece; but I will add a bit of commentary of my own. If you have, in fact, been hanging around this site for years, you would probably have noticed that things aren't deleted from the BOI (with the exception of obvious spam). Threads that belong elsewhere may be moved, or some may be locked if they don't follow the posted rules (a fate which I certainly hope this one meets in short order).
If you have something to say about Randy Ellis, there is a current thread in his name...feel free to post there.

Ellis, Keith has made it public that you have shipped at least 2 maybe 3 shipments of dead snakes. My question to you is simple, are you going to correct this or are you going to stick them?

I have e-mailed David and Maria and they say that nothing is being worked out, They want all their money.

Randal had received several e-mails from a person at [email protected] From which he proceeded to investigate and Randal Berry proved it out to be Dave, Dave also has a business named Victoria reptiles and Randal contacted customers of Dave Lawson because the venomous community is a small and they confirmed to Randall Berry that [email protected] was in fact one of Dave Lawson e-mail addresses.

And Greg Mosley AKA Yoda using the e-addy of [email protected]
Which he used to harass me in the beginning 2 years ago but was found out as well then to be Dave.
Now when I moved I started getting emails from [email protected] with some obscene and aggravating statements and accusations towards my family and my wife and daughter.
They contained the same spelling errors and mannerism as his post here on fauna and e-mails forwarded to me by ALLY mewenda. Who Dave should be worried about paying!! Instead of worrying himself with any of my business problems with AA.

This is all just a big smear campaign against me and others by Lawson who is gloating on how effectively he has everyone bickering and fighting within this forum and other forums he involves himself in, and which he has no direct involvement in other than he involved him self.

Now if you guys want to slam me go right on ahead because it will not make any difference to me your opinions are nothing more than just that! Opinions and I can hold my head high because I have always done the right thing in business!
I am done with this thread as I have more important things to attend to.

You have effectively put your self and Berry in a very actionable position.

Slander, liable and harrassment of my customers, I hope that you and Berry can prove it. But as Berry knows I know greg Mosley and so do you, don't you? You sent him animals. Well he has appointment with a friend of mine at which time a copy of hiS fL. DL, A PHOTO AND BIRTH RECORDS will be put in a file, just in case we need it later......in a Tampa court.

So show your proof you retract your statement.... I am nowhere as nice as bud.

The day that Randy Ellis does the right thing, the heavens will open up and start crapping gold nuggets ! LOL If he owes someone in Africa $12,000, they can forget EVER getting a penny of that money. If it were me, I'd get on a plane and pay him a visit. I would also advise that the good people in Africa contact both the Texas Attorney General and the US Dept. of Commerce and file FRAUD charges against Ellis. He is a crook. He has always been a crook. How much eveidence do you people need before you actually get it. He was run out of Val Verde County for ripping off collectors as they came through. He owes everyone; Sloan, Lund, Les Hughey, Earl Turner, yada, yada, yada......the list is too long to even complete here. The people in Comstock are SOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy he left. He is a pathalogical liar and a thief. Just one example....he had Shawn Lund bring him 15-25 pairs of really nice gentilis every year on the promise that Ellis would give Shawn the alterna he collected. According to Shawn, every time he came down here, Randy had not seen any alterna. Yet Ellis was selling them all over the place. I'd hate to be Ellis when Lund catches up to him. He got Les to pick up everthing he saw and promised to pay him. Never did and took hundreds of dollars in snakes from him. He did Sloan the same way. He did Ed Lorantz the same way. He tried to do me the same way but I was warned and stayed clear of him. And then listen to what Ellis says here.....he does not care about what is said about him and how he can hold his head up. He would not hold it up in front of Lund or Sloan I promise you that. He rips people off, threatens them and then whines like a B**CH when they want to confront him. Randy Ellis is a low life thieving coward.

Seriously though, why the hell do you think after a few years of watching this crap I decided to actually join. I just wanted to get in on beating a dead horse like the rest of you. The thing that I think amazes me the most is that the owners of this site seem to think that they are untouchable to law suits because it is a public type site and not necessarily their opinions. With all of the threats and addresses and phone numbers and personal info they allow to be posted here - what if some nutcase - and there are many here - decides to act on this info and kills someone. Fauna gets sued - win or loose - they still get sued. I'm just curious. As an attorney and lawmaker in Austin, of sorts, I find it amazing the admin here just let it go on to that degree. It is one thing to report about a bad guy or crook, but when it gets into threats of violence and addresses, phone numbers, etc.,....it goes too far don't you think. Maybe this is another thread and I should stop here.
