    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am not known on this site but, I wanted to add my opinion.... Everyone of us, on this site, are human beings, we have all made mistakes and been put in unexpected financial binds without warning.I think this could have been a very easily settled problem for Mr Ellis by, simply coming here and explaining that he was in a bind and needed a payment plan.Even if AA never did business with him again (which I wouldn't blame them a bit) at least they would have gotten their money, Mr Ellis wouldn't have looked like he was trying to rob them, and everyone would have come out even.Thanks for your time.

You're right but. The time that has elapsed is what hurt his credibility. If this were a car he purchased it would have been repossessed a long time ago. Bottom line is you don't order something you can't pay for. AA must be very patient people. I know I would never be as patient. :2gunsfiri

Bud, you have been here long enough to know The rules, There is no rule about staying on topic or name calling. Its not what you said it is whom you said them about. Saying anything about the mods will get you dinged. No matter how true a statement may be never mention the mods. It is not tolerated!!!!!!! The mods have the right to choose how and when to use his/her warning points.


I hope that you get the point now.

Well IF that is the truth of the matter of how things are here now, then this site has lost all its worth what so ever. That is saying you can run around and rip people off, treat them like crap, be as rude to them as you like and we can not defend ourselves in any way what so ever. We just have to take it. Like that will ever fly.

You know as well as anyone that what Dave posted is blatantly untrue. He's just bent out of shape because all of the moderators have come down on him so hard over the way he abused his power right after becoming a mod. It's just sour grapes. :rolleyes:
 
Shrap, If a moderator makes or has a bad deal or makes a bad post then yes it can be posted and talked about, But If 1 person that is a mod does wrong post about it but do not lump all mods into a single statement. It would have been better to say something like this moderator insert name did insert trouble.

Bud, let me spell it out for you since you don't seem to get it. Antagonize a moderator for the legitimate performance of their duties, and it gets you warned. It really is that simple. I could give a rat's ass what side of a debate someone is on. However, once they demonstrate that they are unwilling to follow the rules here, they face the repercussions of their actions. It's been this way since day one.

Mr Williams was banned as the cumulative result of warnings he received. In his short time here, he relayed threats on behalf of Bob Sloan, posted profanity, sent a vulgar PM to a mod, and continued to antagonize mods for performing their duties. That he misrepresented himself did not come into play in terms of warning, nor did his side of the issue.

In short, Bud, what you have posted is not fact. It is ignorant gibberish that is contradicted by fact. The mere fact that you and Dave, who have been two of the most vocal regarding the topic of Ellis, are still here attests to that.
