• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Short version: Absolutely amazing customer service, gorgeous and healthy dragons!

Long version: I had been searching for my first bearded dragon for several months before I came across Bearded Dragon Central's website, and immediately spotted a couple I was interested in. One in particular stole my heart immediately, and I emailed their staff to ask if his gender was known yet. (It was listed as unsexed at the time.) Within an hour or two I received the response that they checked for me, and it was a male, which was exactly what I was looking for. Several days later, I submitted payment, and quickly received emails letting me know they would be shipping him, and answering any questions I had.

All was going as planned, he was to arrive the following morning by 10:30a.m., and I kept an eye on his progress with the tracking number. Sometime before 10:30 however, I received the alert that there was a delivery exception due to the resident not being available, and immediately I tried calling FedEx. (The issue was with the driver, my street and the next street over are very similar, and occasionally mail gets delivered to the wrong street.) As I was calling FedEx I immediately got a call from Randy, and after I explained the situation he assured me that everything would be alright, he would contact FedEx and attempt to reroute the package, or at the worst, arrange for me to pick him up at the facility.

Within minutes I got a call from Amy with Reptiles Express, informing me they had rerouted the package, and would be attempting a second delivery within the next hour. When I explained the confusion to her, she informed me she would call them back to be sure they knew the difference between the streets. Within an hour, as I was told, my new beardie finally arrived.

Aragorn was bright and alert, the box was still warm, and everything was packed and marked securely. He is absolutely gorgeous and everything I hoped he would be. I cannot thank the staff at Bearded Dragon Central enough for their quick response to the shipping problem, particularly Randy for being patient with my panic, and keeping the situation under control.

These are great guys, and I would easily recommend them to anyone who hasn't already heard of them.
