In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

3.1 Rhacophorus helenae
Long Term Captive from Vietnam. Came in as part of a large shipment in July 2014. These frogs do not ship well as adults so they are for pick up only near Fenton MI. Will drive to meet within a reasonable distance. These frogs are extremely healthy and have been cycled through the dry season. Will only sell as a group to someone with experience with upper canopy frogs who intends to make a breeding attempt. ready for increased temps and heavy feeding followed by rain chamber and hopefully will lay a large clutch. This is a strictly upper canopy species that never decends to ground level and will not even use a water bowl. They must be provided with a large enclosure that provides air flow, moisture and food in the upper half of the tank. We have house them with a screen canopy on top of a pvc tank approximately 24in x 30in x 72in high with the upper 36in being the screen canopy section with portions covered with plastic to keep in some humidity. This is an extremely rare opportunity to get healthy, established animals of a very rare species. All the hard work is already done. Wild caught specimens of this genus, especially females, are very difficult to establish and most die within weeks of arrival. We treated them for parasites, bacteria and fungus on arrival.

$600 for the group FIRM. I have much more than this invested in the project to get it to this point. Just want them to go to an experienced keeper that will take it the rest of the way. With all our other projects we just need to down size our breeding projects right now.

Can purchase their tank for an additional $200. Tank is not extensively planted as many plants don't survive well during the drying period and it does not have hinges or latches installed in the canopy but is rather held shut with zip ties. The structure is however perfect for them and just a couple cheap hinges, latches and plants would finish it off nicely. Has done the job for us for the last 6 months.

3.1 Phyllomedusa tomopterna
Long term captive from Surinam. Been in our care since July 2014. They have also been cycled through the dry season and are ready for heavy feeding and an attempt in the rain chamber. This group is available for shipping or can be picked up near Fenton MI. Will drive to meet within a reasonable distance.
$300 for the group. Shipping available for an additional charge

3.2 Phyllomedusa hypochondrialis
Long term captives from Surinam. These guys have been with us since March 2013 and have given us many clutches. They are established to the point now that they will breed without a rain chamber. Simply dry them and then increase the humidity with a spray bottle and blocking the ventilation and you will almost certainly get eggs. They have been kept dry for the last few months so should be ready to breed again with a couple weeks of heavy feeding followed by increased humidity.
$250 for the group Shipping available for an additional charge
