In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi everyone, just a few quick questions for those that have built rodent racks for rats.

what types of tubs do you use? I want clear ones only? and how large?

Also how many rats per tub? I don't want to over crowd.

Thanks!

I use the cement mixing tubs and i keep 1.4 females in each. I have 10 racks, 5 tubs each. I use a couple of racks for my pregnant females and i will house 3 - 4 pregnant females together in 1 tub. If you have a lot of snakes to feed like i do than you should use the mixing tubs, if not than you can probably use the smaller clear tubs, you just won't be able to keep as many breeders in them. Hope you have good luck with any way you do it.

Did you want to leave your males and females together all the time, or did you want to separate the pregnant females to birth and wean the babies in a smaller tub?

in my opinion, vision mouse tubs are the best and cheapest way to go. you can house 1.2 for breeding and use the same size tub for your prego females. best part is that there only $6.49 each.

Ty everyone for the reply's. I am experimenting with Different types of Tubs - I bought a Few vision mouse tubs & am giving them a try.

I really dislike the solid black's and Am trying to go with Clear Tubs if Possible.

Thanks Again everyone :)
