• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Species: Razorback must turtles are cute, small sized turtles that are very hardy and perfect for any experience level keepers. They are cold hardy and can be slowed down over the winter months. They are good swimmers but prefer lots of resting spots in the enclosure where they can stay in the water but poke their heads out.

Enclosure: Outdoor housing whenever possible is the best way to go. Hatchlings can be housed in large cement mixing tubs with plants and cork bark or driftwood. Adults can be housed in preformed ponds, in ground ponds, waterland tubs or stock tanks. No matter which way you go make sure there are gradual slopes leading out of the water and lots of plants or resting places.

Diet: The hatchlings are feeding on thawed frozen blood worms, thawed frozen beef heart, Omega One juvenile pellets and zoomed hatchling pellets. As they grow you can add night crawlers, snails and other bugs to their diet along with fish and cooked meat.

Who am I? My name is Michael. I am a software engineer by profession and conservationist by passion. I am a registered wildlife rehabilitator who focuses on native pond turtles but also handles rescue and adoption of other non-native species. I have been keeping and caring for turtles and tortoises since 2001. I breed a few species of turtles and tortoises with a heavy focus on Asian species. I offer captive bred hatchlings to others with the hope of getting them started with healthy well started animals so they will have a good experience and will enjoy the hobby and hopefully down the road will help with chelonian conservation.

What to expect: I am happy to answer any questions you have, before and after the transaction is over. The most important thing for me is that my hatchlings get a good home so if you are new to the hobby then I am happy to help you with every aspect of their care but please first understand their requirements before buying one . E-mail is the best way to stay in touch with me but as time permits I will be happy to answer your questions via a call. My support does not stop once the hatchling reaches you and you are welcome to e-mail me whenever you have any questions. I do not have a web site, yet, but please note that I am NOT in the business of selling animals. I am a hobbyist who breeds many species with the goal of making available healthy hatchlings for others to have a successful and enjoyable experience. I have many reviews online, see the links below
