    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i went through some rough stuff no excuse to bring others into it at all i made big mistakes and i owe everyone an appology but most of all i am trying to right all the situations.
 
I need to check my emails at home but I believe that this guy had contacted me about a trade awhile ago and after constantly changing what he wanted and what he had I declined to deal with him any further. The name sounds familiar and I'm relatively certain it was him.

brdyluv - I'm going to suggest that you read the rules for posting in this particular forum, as they differ somewhat from the rest of the site. One part in particular stands out:
FULL NAMES are required on each posting you make on the BOI. Anyone failing to adhere to this simple rule has subjected their message to possibly being deleted. Anyone using a false name may be subjecting ALL of their messages to possibly being deleted as well has having their account removed from this site upon discovery.

I am going out on a limb and expect a lot of flak from people by providing this forum, so if you are not willing to stand up, state your claim, and put your name on it, then I'm not interested in providing you the space to make anonymous accusations. Such messages will be deleted as deemed appropriate in the individual circumstances surrounding the message.

YOU have to take responsibility and ownership of the words you post here. So take great care in how you craft your statements. Once you submit your message, it will be here PERMANENTLY, no matter what happens afterwards

To correct your account info send a PM to webslave and ask that he update your information to include your real FULL NAME so you will not take the hit for not signing your posts.
 
I checked my emails and it is Anthony. I can't really read them right now as my video card is going on this computer but I'll relay what I remember. I think he had contacted me about trading for some of my animals. He told me he could get het pieds and some other ball python morphs. Several times he would give me a list of what animals he wanted from me and then I would respond with what I would trade of his. He never committed to anything and his stories always changed so I started some research on him. He is in Colorado and frequents some of the reptile stores there (or he did). The albino ball python (or het albino) he was going to trade to me I found out he had gotten at an extremely low price because they had some issues which he never did tell me about. I was pretty clear about him shipping first, and what I wanted in trade value as far as my animals went. He would go from I want this and this to I only want this what else do you have. He continually changed his mind as to what he wanted and he also continually changed what he could offer to the point the whole deal just stunk which I let him know. I wouldn't do business with him ever.

First off, I couldnt understand a word in those emails..:NoNo:

Secondly, So the guy admits he has done wrong.. What has he done to right that wrong? Are any of the above animals that Ms. Linda posted any of your guys that he stole from you? Has this been pursued further? Did anyone pay with Paypal and take up a dispute? For the life of Me, I cannot understand why people would send a creature to someone PRIOR to them paying!? Granted, I know people who do send payment for something and then get the wrong thing or nothing at all (as many threads on BOI show)..But why would you trust someone to pay you for something after they have the product in their hands? I'm sorry but from where I am from, Trust has to be earned. I would be checking references (as Kevin did) and doing a GOOGLE search on that person's name and aliases! You would be amazed at what you can dig up on someone.

In my case, I had talked to him sparatically for over a year ..

there was no boi thread on him at that time.


seemed like a nice kid.

People make mistakes, and learn from them.. (well, some learn .. like me :p)
 
Update.

I see him online, and occasionally ask for an "update".. (an update because he says he was hospitalized and such, and that is why he is unable to pay. etc etc) Each time he says he will get me the money.

Yet seems he only wants to mail it to me.

Call me paranoid, but I do not feel comfortable just giving out my home address.

He claims he will find a way to paypal it to me, since he himself does not have a paypal account.

... I still wait.

Has anyone else made any progress??
 
lol any one heard from this guy? he called me a few months back claiming he was gonna send me money lol still nothing?

have him send to a different address ( a friend or someone that doesn't have reptiles or somesuch), and then pick up the money there (if her really does send). You could have a 3rd party mediator for it as well, send to a third party you trust, they send you the funds once they receive them.

Unfortunately I don't think he is going to send anyone money. At the end when I was dealing with him he was just way to shadey. I would just add him to the list of people to never do business with because you will just end up angry.
