    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay so heres what happened. My snake has not been getting in its hide regularly and i thought i needed another anyways so i added a large butter container to the tub just to give Roxy another option. Still she NEVER got in her tub.

Well today i was in the chatroom chatting and blah blah and i decided to go get her out of her tub. I looked in there and saw that she wasn't in there and looked under the half log hide and saw she wasn't under that either, then i was like oh great 400 dollars down the drain.

I closed all of the doors and checked under everything. Still No snake. well i decided to look in the tub once more when i realized i didn't even look under the butter tub.

Low and behold there she was.

well, the good news is that she was right where she was supposed to be, sort of. the rest of the good news is that in 6-8 months, she'll be be big enough to see no matter where she is hiding (within her enclosure, of course)

It sounds like you had a bit of a scare there for a minute; I'm glad you found her.

Dnn't feel bad

Matt,
Don't feel bad I had the same thing happen to me one day
only my baby was in my office I FREAKED. I was like OMG she is
loose in the office. Then it dawned on me to check her hide LOL

I have had a couple escapes in the past few months. The scariest was last week when I discovered one of my hatchling BPs had pushed open its shoebox. I tore the room apart and eventually found it, but it was nervewracking for sure!
