    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm working on a trade deal to get my hands on this red phase anaconda hognose (male). I've only ever really been into ball pythons, but my friend got a hognose and I've become very taken by them.

Now I know that the 'anaconda' is a co-dom, but I'm having trouble finding out exactly how the 'red phase' works. I find some sites that call it simple recessive and others that call it co-dom. Can you help me out with that?

Here's the little guy (and I mean *little*). He comes with a normal female.

D'awww he's so cute, simply adorable! <3 Congrats on your first hoggies! :thumbsup:

Now I'm not 100% sure on this since I never bothered to look into it much, but I'll toss this out there for you just in case - I was under the impression that high red/purple/green/white etc etc phases were simply line bred animals. The color of normal wild type hogs is real variable, but if you stick to animals of the highest color only and selectively breed to advance that trait then it'll become much more prominent. :yesnod:
Anyways that's what I've always believed on the matter~ ;)

Best of luck with your hog projects! You're off to a great start with that awesome lil' guy! :D

Thanks! I'm getting him on May 13th! I can't wait! It's a semi-local sale. The snake is like 75 miles from me so we are going to drive towards one another and meet in the middle.
