this is the result of a Red-Stripe to Reverse Stripe Albino (Tremper) breeding . the first two clutches were 1 Jungle and 1 Reverse Stripe each so far .

the one in front there i think is safe to call a "Red Reverse" and het for Albino too .

ENJOY!!

That last picture is the cutest thing. He also has a very nice stripe, might turn into a stripe rather then a jungle.

If jungles could keep the same shapes and patterns from baby to adult, they would be killers.

Thank You everyone for the comments , even you Robin ! :bleep:

they are just changing so fast , its hard to keep up with them .

btw dan thats not a reverse stripe... a reverse stripe would have a black stripe instead of an orange one... thats just a tangerine stripe (actually not even a stripe it's a jungle, see how broke up the body patterning is?) that will most likely hypo out

correction

thats actually supposed to say Red Reverse Stripe ? (w/ question mark)

does a GOOD "Red-Stripe" have 2 black- spotted stripes ? NO they are ORANGE w/ no spots

yes a B-Grade RS has 2 rows (w/ black) ill agree .

this gecko clearly (to me ) has 1 orange stripe so far , not 2 like a RED "Stripe" does . it has not seperated and turned into 2 stripes this is why i still question it being a "Reverse" . it could still happen ! LOL

FYI Jungle/Stripe/Reverse-Stripe all work together IF they have striped-tails it seems . otherwise you get bandeds . i have one Red Stripe X Reverse Stripe Albino from another breeder they hatched nothing but banded "Hets" from that breeding .

i bred a Red-Stripe to a Reverse Stripe Albino and im getting Jungle/Stripes and Reverse-Stripes . its nothing new others have the same results w/ the patterned geckos . ask Marcia (who actually knows what she is talking about )

I was about to say I didn't think that was a reverse stripe, I was pretty sure the banding has to run down the middle with the body color on the sides.

Sarah , the gecko in the front in the very first pic , is what i suspect to be a Red Reverse Stripe . it does have 1 single orange stripe in the center of its back so far (maybe hard to see in the pic) .
which is why ill call it a "Red" -Stripe or Reverse stripe if it is one . if it had or develops black spots i would not call it a "Red" anything , and it would be just a ""stripe" or "Reverse stripe " from Red Stripe lineage " depending on the number of stripes .
right now it has only one making it a "Reverse Stripe" . if it seperates into 2 ide call it a Stripe and apologize . his father is a Red-Stripe , and the other sibs do not have the color (besides some carrot) to call them "reds" but this one in particular does .

I wasn't comenting about the whole red stripe thing, it does look like a red stripe cross to me.
It is the reverse stripe thing I was commenting on.
For it to be a reverse stripe I belive the dark pigment(bands on a normal) has to be running down the back of the baby in a line, with the color (in this case orange) running on either side. I hopethat makes ence, I wish I had a pic, K&N had a really nice one on there site a long time ago.
anybody got a pic of a reverse strip baby?

let me post a picture of a reversed stripe... i will also try and post another if i can get permission from its owner

also if you go to the photo gallery you will seee what a reversse stripe albino looks like and also a reverse red stripe (even though it MAY end up hypoing out) its a very nice example of a red reverse stripe. they are both albertos animals

Sarah , i understood your post , its not a problem . but has any of us ever seen a Reverse Red Stripe ( from HQR Red Stripes ) ??? if it has a black stripe its not worthy of the name "Red Reverse Stripe " is it ???

yes Robin Thank You , that is a Reverse Stripe , not a "Red Reverse Stripe" do you see what im saying ?

a "Red" will not have a Black Stripe , is what im saying it will be orange w/ minimal black or simply will not be called a "Red " by me anyways . :>poke2<:

Robin i know what a Reverse Stripe and a Reverse Stripe Albino look like i have a few and these geckos mothers are Reverse Stripe Albinos . now i did not see this picture , please tell where i can see it ? i mean where excatly in the gallery ? Thank You
