In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. I usually don't post on here but I'm aware (from looking on here) that Regal Reptiles has mixed reviews so I thought I would post my experience. I happened to be walking past their table at the last Hamburg show and spotted what appeared to be a nice looking biak locale gtp. I was hesitant to buy it because it had a few scars, a bit of minor scale rot (that I was confident would clear up after a shed or two), and an overall ragged appearance so I assumed it was WC. However, it probed female and I was able to talk them down to a price below what I had hoped for so I got her. The background info they gave me on her was that she came in as an FB import about a month prior to the show and had not been treated for parasites but was eating regularly. This may not have been quite what I wanted to hear but they stuck to the facts and answered my questions flat out with no BS, which I can appreciate.
I have had her about a month and she is doing great. She ate the day after her 7 hr car ride home and would happily eat daily if she could - day or night, she does not care. She defecates regularly, is alert, and had a perfect one piece shed about two weeks ago. She is also oddly easy to handle (considering that she's an import and probably biak locale), if taken out with her perch and given a few minutes to adjust. However, she did have roundworms, which I'm okay with since I was warned that she had not been treated. Worm medication is inexpensive and if thats the only problem I have then she was worth it.

I've purchased 2 snakes from Regal Reptiles, one a Tangerine phase Honduran Milksnake( which i no longer own) and my male Brazilian Rainbow Boa. I can say both animals were and are perfect in all sense of the word, with no mites and no RI infections. Both times i dealt with Shawn, and he answered all my questions that i had, showing me all the animals i was interested in. I have had my BRB for 6 years now, and honestly he is one of my best tempered snakes. He has not made an attempt to bite me, which i was surprised, since they have a reputation for being snappy. All in all, a great experience with Regal!:):):)
