Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Much better construction. This is what I would expect from Neo.
Jeremy will definitely right any problems with cages.
 
Im glad he took care of you.

However, I am not looking to do business with poeple who will "make it right." I want to buy from people who do it right the first time. The fact that he sent you a replacement does not explain why he would send you JUNK to begin with.
 
Some people are never satisfied ;) It sometimes is best to judge a person by how they handle their mistakes. That's the flipside to the BOI.

The problem with applying that analogy to this thread is that it was not a mistake. A mistake is "oops I sent you a male, I thought it was a female."

Sending someone a product that you built with your own hands that does not function properly and is a cosmetic nightmare is NOT a mistake, but rather a "I will send this to him and hope he accepts it."

You see, one excuse is most likely honest. While the other one is most likely not.

Steve, did you receive a replacement rack? The first post sounds like you did and the last post you made sounds like you never received it.
 
I recieved a replacement cage since the first cage was not constructed very well at all.

I have still not recieved the rack which was part of the original order. I am going to try and get a hold of Jeremy on his cell. I am tired of waiting and I hope the rack does not show up like the first cage.

Even if you are accused of "never being satisfied". It is obvious that these people lack what it takes to run a business. See, thats the flipside, to the flipside of the BOI. It is best to judge a person by the way they handle their business, not just how they handle their mistakes! Not shipping your rack is not a mistake, it is bad business. PERIOD.

There's no excuse for the quality control that was missing when the first cage shipped out. But Steve did express satisfaction with the replacement he recieved, enough so to post an entirely new thread. It's a shame that the entire order wasn't completed at the same time.

Neodesha is a name that is almost legendary in the community, I'm sure it is difficult for a new business to keep up with the demand that name creates. I hope things work out for them, because I do believe the owner to be a good guy.
 
I have no doubt that the first cage being constructed poorly was due to a new worker. The replacement one arrived and was of the quality I have come to expect from Neodesha ( I have some very old ones from Bush Herp that are still in use to this day) so I posted to let people know that Jeremy will make right any problems.

I got an email from Jeremy and he explained that the racks are subcontracted since they changed the finish (the new ones paint is supposed to hold up better than the older ones) and he is trying to explain the urgency of filling orders in a timely fashion. My rack was finished a few weeks ago but has not been shipped yet.

Hopefully he can get them to ship this out ASAP.

All in all, I'm on the fence right now as to whether or not I would ever order from this place again. The owner is helpful and easy to talk to regarding issues but having a breeder male on loan and 2 gravid females and not being able to set up the cages and rack as planned is frustrating.
