I sold a very nice Ambanja male and 2 females to my friends at Reptayls for 700.00 dollars 300.00 was for the male named AJ and two females named Angie and Nelly. The females sold, for 200.00 each. I also gave them a 3rd female free ( she had been ill with a retained egg we believed and I did not know is she was going to make it but I told Nickole if she wanted to try to help her maybe she would have better luck then I had.) As it was she passed away. So Nickole and Gayl from Reptayls owed me 700.00..... when I took the animales to her she made me out a bill of what they owed me minis some stuff I had purchased from them . The balance due was now down to 544.00.... Nickole said she was going to pay for the chams through paypay...after a week or so went by I sent them a bill through paypal and got no responce except paypal telling me the mail was opened. So a week or so after that Nickole called and said she was waiting for some money from a cham deal she had going on and when she got paid she would pay me.That was not the paypal agrement we had in the beginning but we were friends so it was OK. A week or so after that went by...So now it had been 2 weeks or so . So she called me up in Jan. and tells me she is going to be driving up my money to pay me cash, I told her the weather was really icy in washington and I did not feel it was safe for her to drive and she should wait till it got better. So around a week or so after that we talked on the phone and she told me a guy named Waun had e-mailed them to let them know they were going to be getting their shippment in from Madagascar by the end of February.....so I told Nickole if that was the case, to hold on to the money for a payment on 2 female Ambilobes. So on goes the story... At the end of Jan. I make a mistake in my checking book and decided that it was my responsibility to fix it and not put the burden on the household so I
called Nicole up and told her I had to cancell my order and needed my deposit back... The next day she calles me and said her husband was very mad at me and could not sleep all night and was going to give me AJ my male Ambanja back... they did not have the money due to lack of work from the weather so they had to use the deposiy money..I told her she could not returne a cham after a month. and if they did not have the money I would just barrowe the money from one of my friends..not to get so mad. So at A reptile show we were both at this last weekend I have a guy walked up to my booth and tells me that Nckole had told him that the Madagascar deal had fallen through. So I told Nickole if the chams were not here by 15th march I wanted to cancell my order. The next day of the show she hands me AJ back HALF DEAD AND TELLS ME TO TAKE HIM HOME. IT HAD BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS!!! SHE HAD NOT PAID ME ANYTHING AND I ASK HER FOR THE FEMALES BACK ALSO AND SHE SAID NO. sHE SAID SHE HAD TO TAKE THEM TO THE VET FROM EYE PROBLEMS and she owed me more money by then on some 1800 grown silkworms and a container of bug barracade. i had sold her. now she is telling us that when they were over at our house this last summer we did not pay them for some 6 hours of work Gayle did by helping on puting cages together... I was floored to say the least.. they never told us he wanted to get paid for helping AND WHAT DID THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THE CHAM DEAL ANYWAY ??? WE HAD HAD THEM OVER FOR DINNER AND EVEN WHEN WE PAYED GAYL TO HELP MY HUSBAND BUILD OUR DECK ONE SUMMER WE OVER PAID HIM BECAUSE HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB....I would never rip anyone off and so many times I even step in to help others when I can, Also at the herp show last weekend people were coming up to me asking me what happend to the sick cham in the cage so I let them know he was given to me that day by reptayls. that is not slander IT WAs the truth...these people riped me off and it hurts my feelings that they cauld do something like that to me and my husband after working together for over 2 years.. I also gave them a veiled and a flapneck both full grown and ready to breed and when I wanted to purchase 2 of the baby flapnecks tthe female had aia had given her she had me pay 50.00 and their is more after that also but I think I have said it all for now, Pam Reid.
