In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Back on 2/17/05 I purchased a pair of milk snakes from Scott that were advertised as crosses of ruthi x peublen. What I received was actually one ruthi and one peublen. Not what I expected but the deal went off without a hitch and so I left Scott positive feedback regarding the transaction. The snakes were healthy and quite beautiful, he communicated well, and the shipping was perfect.

Here is a link to that closed auction.

http://www.reptibid.com/cgi-bin/auc...losed2&DISPCLOSED=b_snake_milks1108686281.dat

So the other day I am looking through the animals on reptibid and I come across a female scarlet king that Scott is selling. With the same exact picture of the auction I won from him not more than a few weeks ago. I questioned Scott, as did a few others I believe, and he became rude in his response insisting they were not the same photos.

Here is the link to the Q&A for the auction.

Now Scott has started a bad guy thread about Mike Moore, blaming him as the person who sold him snakes that werent what he listed on reptibid???

You mean to tell me that Mike Moore forced him to use the same photo in two of his auctions?

NO.

Scott saw that I posted in his Q&A that I would be posting this to Fauna so he decided to waste all of your good time with some made up story to look like the innocent victim. Just look at the date and time I told him I would be posting to fauna in the Q&A and you'll see that his thread here follows immediately after. Its nothing more than a cover story to deflect blame and take no responsibility for his own misrepresented auctions.

In my opinion Scott is the person to be wary of. Not Mike Moore. He may or may not also be a person to be cautious of but I didnt deal with him. I dealt with Scott.

Good call...that is why I was wondering what the heck he was yapping about in the initial thread...also, punctuation ! My eyes were spinning trying to make sense of all that !

  I have only 3 brain cells left fron trying to understand where he was going with all that.....Thanks Chuck I see things clearer Now or aleast when my eyes uncross

Lol

It cracked me up too and I'm glad I was able to shine some light on this. Theres no doubt I panicked Scott into creating a "pity me" thread. I had no idea I would spook him into illiteracy mind you, but I'm adding that to my list of personal talents.

Not to detract from the hole scotty is digging, but I did have a slight "miscommunication" with Mike and he did explain it satisfactorily. I did not read it properly. He has on occasion written terribly worded ads but as far as I know has not misrepresented any animals.

Scott I dont care who you took a screwing from. I'm only concerned with how you passed that screwing on to me and attempted to do it to others in another auction.

I dont have a problem with what I purchased from you Scott. I havent asked for an ounce of compensation from you in anyway.

itold you that so thanks for the rap[/QUOTE]

You earned the rap. Unless you have someone else you'd like to place blame with? Maybe its all my fault for winning and paying for your misrepresented auction?

Scott please stop and read. Thats what I would like you to do.

I dont want a refund. I'm happy with snakes. The purpose of this thread was to inform the community that I believe you willingly sold animals and attempted to sell more animals that you knew were not what you had. Everything points in that direction and its the feeling I have in my gut. Others who have posted to this thread seem to agree. End of story.

LOL. The thing that's funny is his emails during the transaction are nothing like his writing here. Its night and day.

He posted the same pic in the fauna kingsnake classifieds as a 27" female scarlet king. He has now deleted the ad, however. I'm not sure if this affects anything, but I was kind of interested in the scarlet, so I'm glad I stumbled across this thread.

I hesitated about posting this since it would bring this post back to the top but it needs said.

I have done several deals with Scott over the past few months and each time his descriptions and animals were right on the money. While his grammar may be lacking his honesty is not.

Chuck, this is one where I would have to take issue with you on. It's impossible for you, or anyone for that matter, to know what Scott was thinking. It's speculation at best and even then, it's very weak. He might be naive but he is not dishonest.

Scott is not someone who has a lot of time on his hands to fully investigate each and every animal. From what I gathered about Scott is that he simply buys animals based upon his likes/dislikes. He saw these animals and thought they were beautiful and purchased them. Heck, when I first got back into boa's after 10 years I was dumbfounded with the amount of morphs that had developed in that time and I purchased animals, initially, based upon what I liked. It's common to do especially when you are only a enthusiast vs a breeder/serious collector.

In addition to being a great guy, Scott is also a Chicago police officer. I would not hesitate to do business with him again.

Griz

PS During our last deal, Scott included a free ball python for my son! He did not have to but he did it because he knew how much my boy loved these animals. Not many would do that.

hey bill some day we will meet i learn from that man i hope you never make a mistake God Bless you the almight bill
