    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Do you know what the largest biker club in the US is???

I'll give you a hint-there's a chapter in every single state, and members hail from many other bike clubs-regardless of rivalries.

Another hint-they come together for ONE COMMON CAUSE!!

The ones who form honor guards at military funerals and form the honor escort for the Moving Vietnam Veteran's Wall.

I'm sure that your state has a chapter...google Patriot Guard Riders.

Ah, you're right! We have a Chapter here that meets at Richard's Coffee Shop all the time. They just did an escort home last week for one of our fallen boys.
I don't know why I didn't think of that.

You should see if some of them can help you organize a ride for the soup kitchen!

And have them wear their PGR vests if they chose to ride along.

I plan to write several of the listed officials this weekend when I have some time. I am frankly horrified by the idea of anyone being frozen into non-action because of the fear that they might say something wrong. What that means, essentially, is that you would let anyone do anything to you and not speak up for the fear of public opinion?

I plan to say exactly how I feel. And I am not happy with what has happened to these two reptile owners in this little town.

Just got a call from Planning & Zoning. We have a confirmed appointment for 10am Wednesday. We had received an email from them this morning also that was very... generous? I don't want to give myself false hope, but it almost sounds like they're back-peddling.
Whatever it is you all are doing, I think its working.

I don't know about anyone else, but I've just been sitting here playing with my voodoo dolls for the last few day...now where on Earth did I leave my Vise-Grips???

It looks like the fever has passed and shes starting to feel a little bit better. Shes still dealing with alot of pain, but she should be able to start posting again soon.

Hey K... I know its not alot... but if you would write up something for me... I will post it on my reptile blog. In the last 4 weeks it only has around 30 hits.... but I also have it set up so every new post shows up on my biz site homepage... and it has had 747 hits in the last 4 weeks.

Maybe that will help get your story out there

Thus far.. I have just copy and pasted what ya'll have put here. I have a couple more posts scheduled to appear on my blog in the next few days.

Like I said... .I may not be able to do much.... but Im willing to help where I can. If ya'll would like to write something specific... I will get it posted for you.

If the Town Hall letter has been posted here... then I already have a post done with it. If not... then yes... if you want me to post it I will. :thumbsup:

Wonder if the mayor wants to come play with the snakes? Now wouldnt that be a hullva photo op... having the Mayors photo taken with a snake with him smiling. Wouldnt that piss off the busy bodys. You should invite him over :dgrin:
 
We have a picture of him with one of our snakes at a library function. K had even gone to his office once to discuss having him help us find a building for a reptile center. He's very aware of what we wanted to bring this community.
The problem is, he's a typical, politician in a small southern town. Ain't what ya know. Its who you know. He does alot of talking and very little listening.
Smile alot. Wave. Kiss a baby. Move on.
 
If ya have the photo.... can you get it printed in the newspaper.... small town politician try to railroad family?
